Practice your harmonies guys. Try doing your practice a capella. Work out what each persons harmony is going to be on a keyboard or guitar and get them to practice those notes so they come naturally. There was an Aussie band called Little River Band. They would practice for an entire weekend sometimes just to get their harmonies perfect. Even Glenn Frey from the Eagles said he thought they were the best vocal band in the world. Keep trying you can do it.
Hey there, guitar player here, we definitely didn’t always nail it but this was right after we got together so we were still figuring it out a bit and I think we got better as time went on. But I appreciate your constructive feedback! Love the Eagles and LRB both.
