I think it's a very good looking car, especially at the rear. As soon as they integrate the new 7 series (and now X1) fronts into the 1 series, it'll look very nice. But yea, nice engine.

Lucas Luhr is Mr Porsche . What a life , driving the RS Spyder for a living . The orginal video is on the Porsche web site and the sound quality ect seems a little better .

the 997 gt3 sounds nothing like a 360 or a straight six. Listen to any BMW straight 6 in real life and this 997 gt3 in real life and they are very different. As for sounding like a 360, I hope you're joking. The "old school" porsche sound is the same flat 6 as always, so you don't make any sense. Listen to a 2.7 and it's not that different from the gt3s

Mind you I still prefer the old school porsche sound... this new sounds like a straight six or a 360. Its lost its charm imo.

I reckon its the best porsche ever... may not be as fast as the turbo... but its surely better looking. In fact the moment i saw this car I realised that I gotta have one... Porsche forever. I absolutely loved the 93 911, then the 996 came along with its ugly headlight and now this 997 comes along which is the best of the 2 worlds... amazing
