The Bhagavad Geeta is a set of seven hundred shlokas positioned as a dialogue between a confused Arjuna and his mentor - Krishna. The Geeta comes us from the mouth of Sanjaya, the charioteer of Dhrtarashtra. Arjuna is a representative of our present self- able and yet confused, running after success which has not been defined. The scene is the battlefield, not the silent retreats of the Rishis. The battlefield is our daily life - with the fights against competitors for space, for money, for name.
