😏 I not sure we were watching the same game... I used D.va and her defense matrix to eat damage and protect my team (;* Baptiste), I used booster to pressure or cut through and turn them. I respectfully feel that what you say is accurate to D. Va the Character and not to my style or use of her

@@kelilahday yes, but there are moments where you could have had a better judgement and overall decision making. E.g not standing infront of a bastion turrent and using cover instead, this way it utillises less resource on your supports (who have to heal all that spam damage) and on you( leaving defence matrixx for actual valueble abillities). Also PLEASE TAKE HIGH GROUND!!

😏careful about those caps... firstly I used D. Va to protect my team and make room. I didn't NEED to take high ground because, quite honestly, we went through them like a hot knife through butter. I rewatched the video, for my D. Va play specifically, and I am still happy with how I played her. I used matrix to protect my team, reduced the enemies ability to build ult, and allow my team to attack, I used my corners and payload for protection reducing trouble for my heals, and I put pressure where I needed to for them to melt... (I think you do not like my style of D. Va and that's cool, I appreciate your thoughts and input and acknowledge I could have done it differently but how I played her worked very well for my team). If you're going to keep an eye on me and my play style buckle up, I'm a bit of a bumpy ride and I guess this is a sign that I don't play any character the way the mains do. Good luck and good games😁

With all due respect, that is assuming your team hits their shots and/or are creating that damage. I understand your point, but please hear me out. Some of you never played low ranks or made climbs and drops as many times as I do. It keeps me humble. If my team are hitting their shots, they get that boost. WHAT good is a BOOST for shots that don't hit? I don't mind the advice, you can critique me as you like, and you all are correct with your points, but consider taking some factors into your Analysis: -I pay attention to whose hitting regardless of boost or heals. I see it all. -I make the calls in the moment in order to give MY team of Randoms the best advantage for That game. You have a solid point in theory, but in practice, please understand that there are all kinds of people in this game. Some are in damage buuuut they might be having an off day. My aim is to climb but also to ENJOY the matches. If I'm boosting a team who are having an off match I'm not helping. I could potentially make it worse as that's more pressure on that player to do better. Some people rise to the occasion. Some crumble. I'm not going to let people crumble in my matches. Yes I could switch but factor in rez's take back a kill, my heals are faster than some of my other options. I don't have to play her like you or anyone else in this world, I have to ADJUST her to suit my teams needs each game and if I can't make her work i happliy switch to someone who will. I liked his aggression and movement. I tend to consider who to back based on if i can understand their play style and if I can work with it, because I solo que a lot. I do not play mercy text book style. I should use boost more, I agree. It's in her design but as I've said I have developed my own style with her that lets me wander the ranks as I please I've been in bronze and in diamond, I like to wander. People are different in the different ranks and they are free to block me if they don't like my style, watch previous videos and you'll see how I play rather than basing all on just this one, you will still see me prioritize heals, which I agree I need to boost more, but you'll see a bit more of my play style too. It works for me. I appreciate the well thought out evaluation and you are not wrong, but the pleasure is in the play for me😌 thank you for your thoughts and the time you took to write them. I agree on a few aspects❤ and I appreciate the notes

@@kelilahday honestly in the end its up to you since every person has their own play style, if this works for you then that’s fine. Also, it maybe just your sens but I did notice that you tend to look around slower? Having it on a bit higher send may help u escape sticky situations when you need to GA to a teammate to avoid being in the middle of dangerous team fights. I understand your points, I do tend to lean towards heals over boost when in a fight and I agree that it's her primary function based on her design.. I do not play her text book style and trust I do not always pocket tanks or damage, I don't like to pocket. I like to wander, if you look at previous videos I use my judgment in the heat (and I absolutely make mistakes but I have also taken her from bronze to diamond and back again😌) the pleasure is in the play ❤ good luck and good games😁 and thanks for looking out

I believe I got this as a free game with my playstation plus account. Otherwise you will probably be able to find it in the playstation store or other compatible gaming systems.

So speed is a solid need, (especially with it being an overtime in rounds one) but my healing partner was a Lucio, who is already fast for the group. I was looking for survivability with life weavers pull and lift. Because it was the first of three rounds I wanted to try the route I took. As you may have noticed, I played weaver a for about a minute that match Because I looked at the stats and thought Mercy would be better

Actually scratch that, there might be some people that never touch rookie. I've started every season in Rookie, but I'm cool with the climb to see how far I get this time, so far 4 to 2, feels good lol

@@kelilahday I’ve never played Ranked before. I did my 10 placements and ended up in Rookie 2. What I’m seeing is nothing like what I am seeing in your video. My enemies are GOOD. I’m seeing tap strafing, wall jumping, hyper aggressive, slide shooting, good players. It makes no sense. I have the 2k dmg badge on almost every hero and I’m getting smoked. Granted my team mates mostly suck, but I’m not good enough to carry. I see now why average people don’t play Ranked.

So I have games like that too... I don't play a lot though s I know my skills are rough. But what you should look at is how often you drop in hot areas and how often you avoid conflict right away. A lot of why my games are slow is because I land in quiet areas, you might have a lot of hot drops. So you get into Acton right away. But Essentially if you're as good as you say you will be able to climb quicker. I have a slow climb. This is one of my better games😁

@@kelilahday I’m climbing pretty slowly. I’m decent, but my enemies are often good. My team mates are usually pretty bad. I’m noticing that it means more to play safe and get into the later rounds.
