If not for the complex, time-consuming, and expensive regulations of Vancouver for building new home, it seems like it would be cheaper to bulldoze everything and rebuild.

The house is nice, but honestly, I’m tired of all these premium home makers. How about we get some home makers who can build decent - affordable - homes for the common worker. As crazy as this housing market is, worldwide, it’s very tone deaf and frustrating that a majority of home building companies choose to exclusively focus on, upper class, premium buyers.
