You can make your own template or download from internet and load them up every time you're working on certain things. It could be project template, track template, FX chains just to name a few. And when it comes to learning curve, it's understandable but one of the best things about reaper is the action list, and you can use that to find everything the daw can do even if you don't know anything about doing anything in reaper and inside reaper, when it doubts, just right click everywhere in Reaper.

@@blacktea4835 Sorry, but many sources list Ableton "Higher". The fact is : Reaper is a "budget" daw, and not only lacks "instruments", but also lacks "premium" features that makes "producing" easier and quicker. I can give you examples: - Ableton has 2 views, and you can't have it in Reaper (of course you can buy an extension - the PlayTime- to reach this feature, but it's not the same because this is an extension, not core functionality of the DAW. Another example : midi generation - Ableton now has cool things in this Area. Reaper? Not in the core functionality I'm sure! Ok, what about Audio to midi conversation? Ableton make it quite simple. In Reaper you should make workarounds, and when I did, I was not happy with the results. Or let's see FL Studio, It's also ranked higher than reaper. FL Studio -as the first daw that can do - makes STEM SEPARATION. So you give a track then it separates the track to bass, drums, vocals, instruments. Reaper can't do this anyway... So I say, Reaper can be a lightweight cool little software, but its also "light" in terms of "premium daw features".

I'm truly baffled by how much you know about Reaper but at the same how much you're factually incorrect about Reaper as well​@@SoftSynthPortal

Yes, true.-)) But there is bilion plugins anywhere. But it is true that Reaper is maybe better for someone with a bit more experience - who can value its strengths and who would not see this as a weakness.
