I know this video is pretty old. Anyway. The label Pioneer did on the mixer is just wrong. This connectors should be named a insert not a send. This explains the whole behavior. But nice video :)

hey dude, does the direct mode also apply to a USB connection? I want to be able to use this with a NI traktor.

do you think it's possible to connect the Kaoss Pad 2 to a mixer with send/receive future? I'm thinking about buying the Denon DN X600 but it would be nice if I could connect the Kaoss Pad trough this feature instead of connecting it between the master and my amplifier.

THANK YOU!!! This totally helped me out on why my KP was not functioning. that "Direct Switch" was the key to my problem. I finally have direct sound without pressing the pad.. I know yer video is older but please send some of your thoughts on working with the KP and your suggestions on the best ways to use the KP.. "Thank you again"....

hey, can the KP3 be used used instead of a keyboard midi controller for the ROLAND JP-8080 or any rackmount/ desktop synth without the use of a computer? or at lease used once at home and stored to a card or something so i don't have to have a computer while performing live concert? thanks
