Cool outing with some really Great Friends. Loved the teamwork on handling obstacles. I wade and float tube a bit….sometimes on sketchy moving waters like the Kishwaukee in the Rockford, IL area. #1 Rule anytime you wear waders: Always wear a Wading Belt to keep water from getting below your waist. If the top of your waders touches the water, even just for a second, the waders can start to fill, you “tip over” and all the air in your waders goes to your boots and lower body and you will become an upside down bobber trying to keep your head up. It’s a shitty way to die and your friends will not be able to catch a man floating down current. Be well.

45 years ago I was SCUBA Diving on Chicago’s Lakefront in pitch dark, filthy water where the only fish were chubs. You literally could not see your hand 2’ in front of your face. But, I did find an abandoned Cadillac in the Lakefront waters once! 35 years ago I was racing 38’-44’ custom sailboats out of Chicago Yacht Club. Waters were still dirty and barren. Just love seeing your fishing Success! Well Done.
