I don't hear the defensiveness. Matt sounds genuinely confused. He knows ben, like all non Christians, doesn't believe in the divinity of Jesus. Is a Christian not allowed to work for a non Christian, lest his boss be asked publicly what he believes about Jesus? My coworker grew up catholic. He still identifies as practicing Christian but not catholic. He doesn't believe in a triune god. He believes Jesus is the son of God but not that he's God.

​@@leviyk7you seem to be conflating Jewish people with Judaism itself. Judaism forbid Jews from storing manna while in the desert, but they did it and were punished. Judaism forbid the worship of idols, but in genesis alone you see many examples of Jews not following Judaism. I don't think these people are criticizing Judaism, but are instead criticizing the sub demographic of Jews who are leading this ideology. Here are some assumptions I am going to make about why this is. It's useful to atheist acknowledge that what they noticed is true. 1. Jews seem to want to be politically active. I think pre holocaust this was avoided because host populations would often target Jews for persecution, and Thomas Sowell goes into why in some books, I want dig into here. So we got a demographic more socially active than others. 2.being this socially active is not why they rise to the top of these hierarchies though. Sure there is probably some in group bias allowing some good networking, but it may just be that Jews have more people with extremely high IQs than non jews, which combined with the social aggressiveness, allows for them to more easily climb to the top of whatever ideology they choose to promote. These people have legitimately noticed a pattern, and it is useful to point out why this pattern exists, if you want to combat conspiracy theories, but it is just going to strengthen their beliefs if we deny there is a pattern here

@@john3031 good question. Let's take the opinion in question as an example. He points out that many Jews push gender ideology. He assumes that Jews want this for some reason. The problem is that gender ideology is antithetical to Judaism, so the fact that many people who push it happen to be Jews, is irrelevant.

Why because he has a standard of not working for any non devout christian, that he expects all christians to adopt?

His question makes sense? It's not ok to work for someone who said they don't believe Jesus is a divine figure, because they were asked for their opinion. But it's ok to work for a non christian who hasn't said his opinion of Jesus publicly, but if asked would say he doesn't believe Jesus to be a divine figure?
