You better be careful with that last part. Scripture clearly says that if a man will not work he will not eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11 KJV For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. [11] For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Just because someone is poor doesn’t mean we are required to give to them. There are certain requirements scripturally that determines one’s qualifications for being poor and laziness is not one of those requirements.
