Lost 2023 winter footage clearing snowdrifts.

This was suppose to be viewed from two different angles. However, I was unable to get the files to play nicely. So, sit back and enjoy as the bush hog is pushed over the cornstalks.

It took nearly 20 minutes of jostling around the bush hog and getting off/on the tractor before finally getting it hooked up. I finally decided it was time to get a Quick Hitch, but didn't want to be bothered with having to get bushings for every implement. Watched other videos on the SpeeCo E-Hitch which requires no bushings and sure enough it works great.

Putting my MarketPlace find to work and having fun doing. Anything for seat time on the 1025R.

Clearing snow drifts with Frontier 3pt snowblower (ROPS cam)

Like all the other storms this winter, Quinlan was a bust as far as big amounts being dumped. But it did deliver drifts with winds constantly 25mph plus with gusts over 35. With the temperature of 17F we enjoyed a -4 wind chill.

Cleaning up fallen trees continues...

Took the chainsaw to a tree knocked down in my front yard and a tree-top in my neighbors yard. Cut them to size to haul away with the forks.

We got only 3 inches but snowdrifts of 6 - 8 inches. It was a bit nippy out there at 1 above, thankfully no wind. Hopefully we'll get a nice 12-18 inch snowfall before winters end.

I've been wanting a 3pt. snow blower for a couple of years now. Finally got the go-ahead from the boss. I wanted do a elaborate video with lots of different camera angles, but instead I helped my neighbor get their car out of ditch by clearing then snow pushed up to it by the town plow. Unfortunately the camera died before the tow truck showed up.

Bought this 1982 Troy Bilt Horse with electric start and 8HP Briggs and Stratton from my neighbor. Gave it new tines, fuel line, fuel filter, fuel shut-off valve, air filter, changed the oil in the engine and transmission (looked like it hadn't been changed since 1990). Now it's back in action tilling his garden.

Installed new blades and cleaned the deck using a mower lift by Pro-lift. It took only 15 minutes to assemble the lift and it is very useful, plenty of room to work under the deck. Removed about 10 pounds of caked on grass.

Tilling part of the garden to plant peas, beans, and zucchini before the forecasted rain begins. Thankfully it did rain later that night.

I was hoping to get some peas and beans in the ground, but the soil was still wet. So much for trying to get out ahead of it, planting that is. Hopefully it'll dry out enough soon to get planting.
