I've been a fan since I caught her mv for KATA on some foreign music program years ago. I never learned much about her as a person, so I'm now learning we are the age and have similar stories with Japanese music. With this knowledge, I can see how musicians like Akiko Yano or Miharu Koshi may have influenced her art.

I know of this band she mentioned in the beginning because they did a Cardiacs cover. so they're legit :)
