The devices such as limit switches detect an object by contacting it, but Proximity Sensors are able to detect the presence of the object electrically, without any touch. Proximity sensors detect objects without touching them. They operate using principles like electromagnetic induction (inductive), changes in capacitance (capacitive), reflection of ultrasonic waves (ultrasonic), or interruption of light beams (photoelectric).

NC terminal has two contact pairs, for this reason we call NC terminal normally close circuit. Whenever we input phase supply at NC terminal of over load relay and connect output from overload to A1 terminal of magnetic contactor, in this condition phase supply comes from nc terminal of over load relay to A1 terminal of magnetic contactor and whenever due to any reason If there is a fault in the motor or the motor is over loaded, then the NC terminal of the over load relay opens normally and cuts out the face supply.

यदि हम किसी मोटर स्टार्टर को PLC कंट्रोलर से जोड़ते हैं तो उस मोटर स्टार्टर में किसी भी प्रकार की होल्डिंग वायरिंग करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है। क्योंकि पीएलसी कंट्रोलर में प्रोग्रामिंग करते समय हम स्टार्ट पुश बटन, स्टॉप पुश बटन, इमरजेंसी बटन, ओवरलोडिंग, होल्डिंग वायरिंग आदि को कोड करते हैं। मोटर स्टार्टर पर वायरिंग नियंत्रण से बचने के लिए हम पीएलसी नियंत्रक का उपयोग करते हैं। यही कारण है कि पीएलसी कंट्रोलर को प्रोग्रामेबल लॉजिक कंट्रोलर कहा जाता है।

If we connect a motor starter to a PLC controller then there is no need to do any kind of holding wiring in that motor starter. Because while programming in PLC controller we code start push button, stop push button, emergency button, overloading, holding wiring etc. To avoid wiring control to the motor starter we use a PLC controller. This is why PLC controllers are called programmable logic controller.
