Nice job. Coatings are great but without the proper paint correction and prep they can't be all they can be....had my 2016 550i x drive done with C Quartz Finest and by a really solid detail shop in my area...car is stunning and will stay that way as I take care of it...On another note, the coating does protect against many things that can damage a nice looking a vehicle.

Greg beautiful job. Outstanding work on those wheels. I just did an opticoat pro job and it was so humid here that it was flashing faster than I could keep up with the product. It was rushing late at night with bad lighting and I did get all of the product to level out. I had some high spots that I go back and polish out. Always need good lighting when doing opticoat. Good thing it was on my new car and not a clients. Please keep up the outstanding work.

Aneika this stone in the video was bought at the local Beauty supply store its called a Pumice stone. Used to grind the hard skin on the bottom of peoples feet. You can search online for some larger more "fancy" stones that are marketed towards pet hair removal. Robert at Towel pros .com can help you with one if you desire..... Cheers,

Hello Dean, yes you will want to clean the paint and make it free from all products still stuck to the paint, in addition I personally like to use Opti Power Clean on the paint and then wash. Once the beading is gone, the paint sticks like a giant sheet on the paint, dry it off allow it to sit in the sun for a time to really dry, bring it in the shop to cool off, coat the paint. If you have ONR that is a great wipe down product before OC 2.0

Hello Bebbenelle, There are two versions of the Product; Opti coat 2.0 and Opti coat pro. The difference is the % of active ingredient in the product thus giving you more durability in the Pro vs. 2.0

For coating your wheels I would find a detailer that has the ability to apply Opti coat PRO for your wheels it will be much more durable. For interior coatings they also make a Leather coating, its super new......Hope to test it soon. What type of interior materials are you trying to protect?

@gert726 this is a water based coating it will stretch with the tires and not crack if you put on clean tires. The tire cleaner has never been shown to cause damage, this product has been around for years and it hasn't come to my attention of any "damage". Please contact the company for further tech questions you might have as I'm not the company.

Do you know if this product damages your tires?

@jdp8642 During the polishing process I use a variety of methods depending upon the pad and product in use. In the case of the Microfiber pads I use compressed air, or a nylon brush to keep the fibers perked up. In the case of a foam pad I just use the nylon brush. Wool pads I use a spur. Cheers, GREG
