I know alot of people don't like some of the words used in this song and I understand that. But the message of the song is about taking back those words against the people who would use them to subjugate people by race, sexuality or creed. It's about combatting racism and standing up to people who would bully people purely based on their differences. A beautiful message in my opinion.

I see a lot of hate on LoG. Randy Blythe's Vocals take much greater talent than you think. I've been trying to sound like him for absolutely years and I tell you, they're impossible to copy. Takes some training to keep straining vocal chords like that without messing your voice up. It's incredibly easy to sing clean vocals in tune, everyone can do it with a little work. I bet you can sing and didn't even know... Can you then turn that into an artistically aggressive voice, and keep it controlled for so long? Didn't think so... And are you deaf? Can you not hear Mark Morton and Willie Adler's awesome guitar lines? Can you not even feel the vibration of Chris Adler's amazing drumming? How about John Campbell's ball-busting bass playing? They are intense! You won't find musicians this good in any other genre of music except Classical... And their lyrics are truth-telling, political and can have 2 or more meanings. Ink Well, has run dry, fill it with the blood of the scribe. Basically means "The media has run out of Stories to write on war, send a journalist in there, make sure he gets beheaded by someone the very Elite brainwashed through the CIA, start a war, we've got our story, we can keep selling papers, we can keep selling expensive oil to the masses."
