I'm an artist, (novice) musician, and an intermediate programmer. I'm currently working on a large slow going Sonic fighting game fan project. This channel will mostly focus on posting music and updates regarding that for now. I may post other music pieces as well!

Dreams of an absolution vs green hill zone! This one is just okay. Originally uploaded to soundcloud for christmas, it's my first instance of rushing something out for the holidays. The composition falls apart in the later half, which is disappointing compared to the first minute or so.

It's beautiful. A perfect mixture. Dreams Of An Absolution playing in the foreground, and a sliced Green Hill Zone, having bits and pieces of Green Hill Zone in the right spots. This is a masterpiece

I don't know if it was intentional, but Silver being "underwater" makes a good parallel with his bad future where everything is on fire.

that acapella sounds so damn clean
It was actually three different versions of the song put through an ai program that isolates vocals! Even then some of the lines weren't clean enough and I had to add them in myself. I tried my best to hide it lol!

A lot of people believe that Dreams of an Absolution is Green Hills remixed and a few tweaks. 🤔 I can kinda see that... My fav part was at the beginning before the TV pop. 😁😍💖🔥 0:09 to 0:38 Wonderful~ 0:55 The course matches up surprisingly well and is soothing to the ear...
That's actually my fav part as well! While they have very similar melodies, at most I could call it a leitmotif that the song goes for. Even if it's unintentional!

Probably not an accident. Dreams Of An Absolution uses a very similar tune and melody that you just can't NOT notice with something as iconic as Green Hill, it's probably intentional.
@@michaelc.8712 The original singer said it was a coincidence, but maybe he subconsciously thought of it while making dreams of an absolution?
