And have you noticed how in all the interviews he does, he's generally kinda boring and doesn't say too much. BUT, the ones he did for hairspray with Nikki, especially the ones that he does with just her, he seems really comfortable around her, and happy all the time. Constantly laughing and joking with her. Not a stiff like he usually is.

I think they're just really good friends, Zikki. Neither wanted to make the other look bad being put under the spotlight like that on the show. But, yeah, he could have phrased it better in this interview. I still think during the shoot of hairspray, there must of been chemistry there. Cause every time they were on an interview/show together, both of them had these silly smiles on their faces, and twinkles in their eyes. Like they're the only people in the world in on a secret or something. Also, I hear on an interview that Nikki even called Zac when he was going through rehab and she seemed really emotionally and concerned about it...
