Nice that he loves to be ignorant.
@@julia347 want to talk about it?
@NileGomez why not, where is the evidence for God?
@julia347 Awesome! Watch this video and let me know what requires more faith: belief in God or atheism th-cam.com/video/q3thDO4esTw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OSnkBci6IcPCe1Mc
Praise the lord❤.
Bad omission not to include the quest without the wedding garment in your clip.
@@kevinmccue7672 can't address everything in a clip. That's what the full sermon is for! 😂 th-cam.com/video/7nTUws1UWHk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=i6aWJGpuGJaq07KE
By repentance and repentance ALONE
The point is if you truly have faith you will be doing works, so if you have no works, you are not practicing what you are preaching revealing that you do not really have faith. So your works are like a reaffirmation of your faith. However, it is not by the quantity of your works that you are saved as Jesus pointed out when he remarked that the woman that gave a single coin gave more than the other rich people that had leather bags filled with gold and silver coins that they raised up and poured out to try to impress people by how much they were giving because the lady who only had a single coin gave all that she had so she had given more than those that gave a bag full of coins because that was only a small part of what they had.
Paul was looking at what made Abram obeying God. That was his motivation which was there before Abram moved. And Paul calls this motivation "Faith". It did not result from obeying the law of Moses which did not even exist in this time. It was an internal work of God's Spirit enabling Abram to obey. James was looking at what this Faith accomplished: It made Abram doing what God told him to do. That was the work of the Faith. So both are right: Faith is not the result of obedience to the law but it is dead if it does not expresses itself in action.
Sorry I dont know your title, but I wanred to give you an update. After we exchanged messages I had a slip up. I believe I unknowingly ingested fentanyl. Luckily, I made it through. The next morning I woke up knowing nothing about what happened but there was evidence someone else was in my apartment. At the same time, Hurricane Milton was heading to a direct impact 40 miles south of me. I was 9 houses down from the mandatory evacuation zone. Thank God my mother offered to drive and get me because I was too anxious and sick to drive. My sister and mom got me. Today, I am working on day 6 of sobriety. I'll be heading to my first Christian recovery group soon and so that's my update. I've spoken with God about my behavior. I understand it's time to get busy doing His work. This is why I will not say anything about plans orher than praying to do His work because my plans almost put me in the ground. Thank you for praying for me and posting your videos online.
No need for titles here. Just call me Nile. Can you tell me your name? I'm so glad you're ok and that you make it through Milton ok! Seriously, if you need to talk... use that Calendly link! Be well!
Yup. And Boomers watching Fox News all day are rotting their brains.

Former Anglican now Orthodox Christian, that's why we uphold the Jesus Prayer, "Jesus Christ Son of God, have Mercy on me the sinner" in such high regard as the prayer of the Heart. When we're praying it, we don't just mindlessly repeat it, or merely think it. We practice praying from the heart, lowering and humbling the mind down to the heart. The prayer itself is both a declaration of who Christ is, and what he has and is currently doing in our life. It's a short prayer yet deep, it's repeated, but without focusing too much and distracting ourselves on the specific numbers (that's why our prayer ropes are round regardless of size) I started praying it when I was Anglican and once being recieved into the Holy Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church started praying it every day as often as I remember while not busy with secular life. I highly recommend.
@@thomasewatt I'm very familiar with the Jesus prayer. I've prayed it many times! ☺️
@@NileGomez This just popped up on my TH-cam feed from Father Tryphon, th-cam.com/users/shorts_18c-JrWK7o?si=guDXkWtCPTasWIqp
@@thomasewatt that was very good! Please continue to send such things along! You know, I'm much closer theologically to Orthodoxy than I am to Anglicanism, but I am also charismatic, and I haven't found a great many Orthodox churches that are operating in that area.
The heart,who can know it
So Im in sort of a jam. I've been mired in addiction for about 21 years, drinking and doing drugs. Somehow Ive managed to graduate college and get a job as a teacher. Yes you heard me right. I dont use very frequently, but when I do it's bad. Perhaps if you could pray for me. I know God is in my life, but I feel so terrible behaving like this on some weekends and then having to look my little students in the eye on Monday. I want to live like a man of God. Perhaps I need to go to church.
I'm praying for you.
@@joshbaker1108 Thank you!
I would love to pray for you and help you in any way I can. I know what addiction is like. Look at me. I still struggle in some areas. But we can recover. The first step is to acknowledge that you have no power in yourself to beat this. You need God and you need other people. So yes. Find a good church in your area that teaches the Bible. Preferably one that has a Celebrate Recovery group. It's a Christian recovery group where you can meet with others and get support. Feel free to schedule some time with me if you want to talk: calendly.com/nilegomez/30min
@@NileGomez Wow thank you! That was really kind of you. I didn't know there were Christian recovery groups. Great to know.
@@Notyet-p5b Yes, they started at Rick Warren's Saddleback Church in California and a lot of churches run groups. You can find a group on their website: celebraterecovery.com/

The KJB doesn't include the Apocryphal books - Anglicans include these in their bibles. Better yet, the idea of scripture, tradition and reason.
@@brjimbo1 Some KJV Bibles do contain the Apocrypha: amzn.to/4egAHmK But better yet, is this ESV-CE Bible I wrote about on my blog: bit.ly/3TgVyhZ
