I got into bad accident that caused me to be paralyzed from the neck down . If it wasn't for my dog saving me from drowning I wouldn't be here. So enjoy the little things in life because you never know what life might bring you #staystrong

New Subscriber today, 05/11/24. Love birds. I put out a heater last year in a very large Bird Bath on my Deck for the Winter. It keeps the water from freezing so the birds have water to drink all winter.. It Works, had hundreds of all kinds birds daily. I read many birds die in Winter w Nothing to drink. I live where its cold, snow etc in New Hampshire USA on the East Coast just below Maine. Brrrrr
That's great! I purchased a little heater that looks like a rock and you plug it in and keep the rock in the water and it works 100% of the time so far

Honestly it only took a couple weeks, it's the only bird I've been able to get to eat out or my hand so far. The other birds don't seem to care to entertain the idea haha

OMGoodness, Never new they shared like this. We love Red Cardinals, my mother in law ( RIP MOM HAZEL) loved them, fed them daily, so everytime we see one we know its Mom watching over the kids etc. I'm serious, she shows up when the kids need a Guardian Angel... Here in Western Wa, we have red and yellow shafted flickers. The yellow is more rare. Fun to watch until they drill on my chimney hood!
