Hopped in the sim after a really long time. As you can see, I am very very rusty. You’ll see very bad rudder coordination and a failed landing which takes me off the runway.

Wasn't filmed, but I think I heard before takeoff a reconfiguration in the packs, isolation valve, and bleeds that suggested a bleeds off takeoff. The original configuration seemed to be restored after takeoff. This was a pretty full flight, they used basically full power (93-ish% N1), and Denver has a high elevation, so I could see why. Got some nice shots during cruise and overflew the Knoxville Airport, which I have a clip of. Timestamps may be included later. Very sorry for the crying baby sitting DIRECTLY in front of me during approach. Unfortunately I don’t know how to filter out that audio and I’m too lazy to. We landed Runway 32, with likely MAX autobrake, due to winds. 32/14 is Indy’s shortest runway.

I addressed this in the description. Yeah I know I just don’t have access to their livery on X-Plane so I just threw in a random livery and operated as Ryanair with Ryanair procedures since they operate this flight.

My aircraft was quite heavy and stupid XP12 had to screw the flight model over and rotation speed is way too high now.
@@SSAviation737but to help fix it, use a bit more flaps and trim up more before departure I like to trim to -5% helps get the nose off the ground
@@howtox-plane8852 I wasn’t gonna take off with flaps 15 in Miami 😂😂 but I see where you’re coming from. I am usually basing my performance decisions on normal 737 procedures irl, and flaps 5 was necessary for takeoff. As for trim, yes, it may help, but sometimes that much nose up trim could raise the nose before the airplane is ready to fly and it could be very difficult to prevent a stall since my nose may keep rising and rising. Therefore, I think the proper amount of trim would be when you could pull the yoke at VR and the nose smoothly rotates, but more so at V2+20 ideally I should be able to fly hands off and the airplane should stay stable at close to 15-20 degrees as needed.

I agree. I decided to do the RNAV just because and it was rough.
If you really want to see me use ILS, check out my other landing videos, because ILS is not the only way to land lol. It was visual conditions as well, so RNAV was used as a backup.
Nothing wrong with flying an approach type other than ILS on a clear day like this.

Yes, I am aware of that. Transavia flies this route but KLM does not, and I am unable to download external liveries on an iPad. As far as I am aware, it only works on Android. That’s why I used KLM colors since it is a European airline.
