It's totally OK if you don’t want to listen to them. You're not obligated to play a certain way. In Diamond 4 solo queue, you're really not missing any essential calls. These are hardstuck Diamond players... people who have been stuck in the rank longer than they wanted to. What I usually do is leave them unmuted and play along. If they say anything I dislike, even if it's small, I mute them. Because honestly, we don’t even know these people, so why bother listening to them talk shit? Haha.

My take: If game companies listened to constructive feedback, it would be a great step forward. Unfortunately, they only start paying attention when the community becomes outraged. Offering constructive criticism to EA feels like talking to a brick wall-they only listen when their stock prices are affected. It's unfortunate, but it's the truth. EA has been over-monetizing Apex for a long time, they've been taking out features just for pure profit, like removing ranked trails just to make them a payable cosmetic later. Consider this: if Apex wasn't in a bad spot and they tried to split the battle pass again, the likelihood of having to pay with real money instead of in-game currency probably wouldn't have been reverted. This change only happened because of the backlash, and EA knew they were already in a bad position. Constructive criticism and positive feedback only work if the other party is willing to listen. Currently, EA only pays attention when their wallet is at stake. Luckily they seem to be wanting to take a different route for this year I hope it goes good. Let me know what you think if you read this. (also the cheater situation in higher ranked lobbies is genuinely insane, not a match goes by without 3 or 4 cheaters)

Teammates can be quite terrible

The biggest fact this guy spit in the video is "No one is forcing you to play". Its clear that a lot of avid gamers are in general really chemically imbalanced irl. There is no possible way you can lose the ability to gain dopamine hits from playing such a banger of a game like Apex unless you have tired yourself out of it. I would suggest that people take a week to go to the gym and get their testosterone levels up a bit, and then play a game with burned out biceps. I swear you will feel ALOT better about the game and games in general. A lot of people went from getting 5-6 kills a game to getting only 2-3 kills a game, and that can have a major impact on your dopamine. If more players realized that there is a legitimate reason for this, and that they are killing higher level players even in low level lobbies, they would understand that each kill is more valuable than before. The game cannot possibly die and it can only evolve. Eventually we will be playing VR Apex.

I'd recommend customizing your controller settings if you don't already, you’ll then get to customize settings for each individual sight to really dial them in. It takes a decent amount of time but its so worth it

Lstar with the 3x is disgusting and if you use the r301 in close range battle with the 2x it’s ttk is faster than some shotguns and faster than the alternator

Tell your teammates GG at the end of a game, encourage each other during the game, communicate early in the game well before the shooting starts, realize that if you are knocked it’s not helpful to armchair quarterback the teammates that are still alive. I know what u mean, but i think its hard to not be negative when u see the Game u love playing for Thousands of hours slowly dying because of mismanagement. Apex could be so much bigger and better in a ton of ways if the developers would do something about it. Permanent negativity doesnt help ofc but its hard to blame some louder voices when they NEVER listen to the community or the pros.

Been playing since launch and I fully agree. Always try to be the positive player in my matches and honestly miss how nice the community used to be. Wasn’t perfect but a lot less hateful haha. The games still tons of fun when you don’t have people constantly telling you otherwise. Keep up the great content man!!

I’ve found out that competitive shooters have the most toxic players alive!!! I’ve been playing apex on and off 4 years and I’m not the greatest. Made it to plat this year soloing and I play on mute as 90% of players are assholes and trash talk constantly. Love your videos!!

they enjoy the game, they hate the players. you're not wrong at all, but i can understand how people can ruin the experience for us. for example hot dropping in ranked games and making us lose RP over and over again.

The current playerbase is so saturated atp with people running to comment sections to showcase their hate for apex, nowadays a game doesn’t have to be dead for someone to call it dead, a minor inconvinience in-game could bruise their ego and all of a sudden it’s a dead game and the game sucks. the term dead game doesn’t even hold weight anymore people just toss it around. Playerbase has declined yes, but far from dead there are still so many people who love the game, now i’m not just completely defending the game bc people have the right to be upset when there are things to be fixed in-game rn, i’ve gotten frustrated, angry, but I’m also aware that just shitting on the game mindlessly over & over in comments isn’t gonna do anything for me, it’d be diffrent if the comments were constructive criticism but sheesh. Now I either make up my mind and stop playing all together, or just realize this is just a game, they’re finally addressing certain things for the new szn (long overdo ik) , and ea is even interested in an Apex 2.0 after saying it wasnt in their plans a few months ago, if that doesn’t tell you ea is finally giving in to helping respawn a little more idk what does lol, ik this seems like i’m just mindlessly supporting a game but no i’m just being optimistic, next szn could make or break apex but we won’t know until we try it out for ourselves, keep an open mind then say what we think as a community, at the end of the day us apex players are just passionate af for this game deep down and people get carried away when talking about it online, for some people it’s their way of pushing the game to get better and it’s honestly understandable, but there are ways for everything, i’m excited for szn 24, goodluck on your ongoing apex journey AVD, wish you the best.
