Railfanning from McMasterville to Saint-Lambert in one day!
On April 20th, 2024 I decided to ride my bike all the way to McMasterville and film the trains I would see while heading there and back. Here is the video, of what I think was a great day. Hope you enjoy!

I'm trying to catch a Renaissance when I'm in Canada next month before they retire them on the corridor. Any advice?
Via 14/15 always has them. Then the ones running from Ottawa to Québec either have Siemens chargeer or renaissance or lrc. Most of the time its Siemens then renaissance and rarely lrc.

Do the trains go slower in wet or winter weather? I know that's true for cars, but does the same hold true for trains?
Only in extreme weather. Usually rain or light snow don‘t impact train travel.

I'd love to live up that way but all I get is BNSF and Union Pacific and the occasional CP
