Hey guys I’m back After a long Hiatus I am back and I have big news!! Let’s hit the water and get some fish on the hook as I set off on one of my favorite beaches Oshima … summer is gone and the season changing means hungry fish and new species coming in. Let’s see what we can get this time!

This week we are traveling to the island of Iki. We will go over how to get there and what to see. Iki island is a fisherman’s paradise and we are going to be exploring some of the sites and see if it’s worth the trip and if it is all the hype. Let’s go and explore this beautiful island!!

On this weeks part of this mini series we will go over two days of fishing in the peak of the season. Watch as we battle some great sized fish and the weather as well. Also I will give some great and important information on what not to do to keep you safe. Let’s get our hooks wet and have a great time!

In this part of our mini-series we are hitting the pier as a large typhoon has just hit Korea and we have been pounded with rain and wind. We have been catching and eating good so lets see what the weather does as the storm pounds us for 4 days straight.

Today we are going over the basics of cutting and cleaning a mahi mahi. We will go over taking off the skin. cutting steaks or filets. and the basics of the fish itself. please be aware I clean my fish a certain way to prep for trash as taking out your trash here in Japan can be a little difficult.
