Thanks! I try to get a bit better at something every video. I've considered trying to learn a bit about AI for videos where there isn't visuals, or not many, on a certain character. I just feel it has such a stigma around it and I don't want to go there. Nothing against channels that use it if they disclose it, I just rather keep doing what I've been doing and making the edits better.

@@imperialremnantpodcast I understand, in a few video reviews I heard it takes around two or three months to learn how Unreal Engines5 works. With your stander workload and this is your relax hobby, learning new software would draw out delay your other activities.

@krispalermo8133 that's a big part of it too. Been learning some python for an app related to the channel and I wanna learn fusion since I've been 3d printing a ton. But time is limited and I gotta find more paid work haha

The surviving through hate has been pretty prevalent lately. I think the Obi-Wan series overdid it a bit haha. I buy it with Maul, they made it really difficult and he had to make a comeback, and magic was involved. Was your B bullet point a Star Wars version of the fable of the frog and scorpion crossing the stream? Sounds like it. Your third point did make me think that a story on someone with really bad mental illness but also strong in the force would be a pretty crazy story. I really don't need to see Star Wars going in this direction though, haha. All the old stories and religious origins are really well explored in The Hero With A Thousand Faces. It's almost cliche to bring up for aspiring writers but it's a really cool book.

@@imperialremnantpodcast Third point, current media control would only not miss understand mental illness but miss portray it as well. Mouse SW: Acolytes, it was a train wreak .. not only from long time SW fans, but from the pagan communities for not giving a proper display of shaman spiritual practices. Overall plot, I get it .. who really Know Thyself .. or hid from their selves, .. vow of silence guy ? His force global barrier I have seen before over the years in earlier comics, cartoons, along with D&D novels. Sliding off a large green scene beach ball on a safety wire would been fun. Remind me of a Maul tale on him developing his double staff saber. Maul was sent to off some swamp shaman, and the old guy beat Maul stupid a few times with a simple wooden stick staff. Point of the story, don't let an enemy live multiple times to figure out how to sneak stab you. The scene of the actress says to the two little girls, " How about some .. sweets .. her my sweet girls." Yeah, that brough back childhood memories of baking cookies/cupcakes with my aunt and granny. Tearjerker. b.) Mental illness, I grew up around it, and had gaming group members .. media doesn't bring awareness to people like us. Poorly made shows are just to make a dollar. Any time in the past 40years they tried to make a mutant Xmen series style for tv, it gets poor reviews. How the series of Charm, Bluffy, or other spin offs make it, I don't know. Skeleton Crew is a good theme, we don't need a Queen of the South cross with space fantasy magic.

@krispalermo8133 some of the old network shows made it cause the network formula. Some are really good, but looking back even 10 years there's a distinct cheap and cheesy feel to most of it. Acolyte missed the point on so many things. The trauma and character development only happened because the plot needed it to and they could turn on a dime just because the next episode had things a certain way. There are definitely writers who can shine a light on real issues while telling a cool and entertaining story. Silver Linings Playbook comes to mind. I loved how they handled it and even showed the inklings of it in the parents of the main characters. Obviously it's a broad topic and it can't all be covered in one project but that's just the first that jumps out to me

@@imperialremnantpodcast Cheesy, in my twenties I didn't get it. In my forties I now get the joke they were making. As one person told me about some shows common off as .. cheap, .. they were popular to many people current stander of living. So the set location felt lived in. They filmed locations that were open to the public, so the tv series reflected everyday life. Review the X-files, really don't need a permit to have three people camera crew film two people talking in a parking garage.

@krispalermo8133 haha. Shows then also had 22 episodes on average. That's a lot of budget stretching. I've been rewatching Smallville which I loved when I was younger and the themes and nostalgia are great but it is DEFINITELY of the era. It's not a bad thing. Just very noticable

@@alicesowders292 haha. All that library time served him well with finding kamino too. I'm also reading Brotherhood now about Obi-Wan and Anakin right after Anakin is promoted to Knight. Obi and Dex do some similar investigating and planning

@@WillowExpensive6636 dooku definitely went for power on joining the sith but I do think his intentions were good in the beginning. I like to look at them as two sides of the same coin. They each took, or would've taken, a different path. I can't see Qui-Gon being a general and leading clones into battle. I can see him being a Wanderer. That'd be an interesting what if kinda story

Maul defeats both Jedi, and leaves them alive knowing that they have been beaten. Then walks out telling Q&O that he was just .. hired .. to slow down distract the Jedi for the natives to take care of themselves. Balance .. b.) The three fought into the pit area, Maul barely holds off Q then Obi joins up, and Maul back peddles out the other passage. Obi gets a call the queen won. Q says the fighting is done and puts away his weapon and tells Obi now is time to go for a drink. Walks off leaving Maul & Obi with sabers lite looking at each other. Confusion, awe, amusement, .. just another Tuesday. As a bar brawler, just another day the ends in .. Y. c.) 1990's musical Mexican western " Desperado," a Bard's tale. Grey Jedi, fallen Jedi, dark Jedi, Sith cultist with musical talent cover/ gun for hire. It was stated by Obi the Jinn would do very random acts of kindness, or collect junk parts and fix them while traveling and turning up at the right moment with a part that someone needed. Think of a garage metal band, that ride motorcycles/ swoop gang, that runs their own scrap yards. Who are part of a smuggler clan working Hutt space for the past 4,000years. They are the reason why the Sith empire Had to .. negotiate .. deals with the Hutts. Lightsabers don't win battles, gunships win battles, or create craters in the ground where cities use to be, take your pick. As for rpg thing with darkside points equaling your character wisdom score or going full all out Sith/cartel lord, .. If they don't master or burn off their depression point pool, fail critical rolls they go into .. last stand .. mod, binge drink till they punk blood and die from alcohol poisoning. Party hard, die before fifty. Rolling 20's Era of Call of Cthulhu rpg. madness, insanity, despair horror terror checks, " The .. things .. I have seen." Star Trek: DS9, Klingon war when Worf's brother Kurn in a state of drunken depressions states, .. Kurn, .. " Suicide, the total act of desertion, the desertion from oneself." .. Q .. walks through all of that, and helps where and when he can, and leave the rest to the will of the force. Palpatine didn't take out the night sisters because they were a threat, he took them out because he just could. Only the strongest rise up in the darkside, strength needs to be tested/challenge, the rest is chaff in the wind. Only the strong survive. Palpatine toyed with Maul and his brother, he didn't need to kill Oppress .. he just could. Other than being a children's cartoon, with ratings and such nots. Compare to how Palpatine was written in legends and Disney, .. Palpatine would see who long it took breaking SO till Maul .. begs .. for his brother's life or to put him out of his pain/misery. d.) Up SW with our world current understanding of occult lore, Maul is insane and his night brother/sister cave lair is full of ghosts. And ghost are easy to be seen in haunted locations, the veil of the mundane world and spirit world is at its weakest/thinnest there. Crimson Dawn leader Qi'ra had a near daughter affection for Maul, well all Maul really wanted was .. family. Vader was just .. bored .. to duel/toy with Qi'ra as long as he did. Qui gon Jinn Qi'ra Q-i Qi Q. Other than the directors/editors, writing team, Lucas loved word/name/language play. Maul to Qi'ra, " This is a tea ritual, drink this and you can hear and see my mother and her sisters." Qi'ra, .. " .. what was in this mushroom tea again .. ?" Clone Wars cartoon, when Obi & Anakin visit Mother Talzin, the face expression, the tone, in the comment section people were debating why did they create the scene where it felt like Obi and Talzin have meet multiple times before Obi started training Anakin. Fanfic, rpg where Jinn was traveling with some force adept shamans and end up having .. tea .. with Talzin. We never really got a full back story of the relationship of Palpatine learning a bit of force shamanism for Talzin, other than her saying he stole .. secerts .. from her.

@@imperialremnantpodcast The character design didn't hit right with me in places but I didn't have a chance to watch it until recently, and haven't yet because I'm trying to do it in order. I stalled out on the Clone Wars but will try to get back before long. I like the early rebellion time period though so maybe that'll be motivation enough to get back to it

@nutherefurlong definitely stick with it. It took me three attempts to get into the clone wars, the first season is very kiddy. Now I love it. Rewatch that and rebels at least once a year fully and revisit individual storylines at times

@@rcdune7132 it's all canon. Some of it came out since Disney took over, the Dr Aphra stuff. That's a really solid comic run though. I will do a legends followup since there were more stories that happened here

It makes sense with the "may the force be with you" said to not only force users like Luke but rebel pilots. Anyone can tap into the force but only with the right training can they use it at will

@Waxer3929 yes absolutely. Yoda refers to the force as an ally and Luke tells Rey, I don't remember the quote very well but it was something like the force is not a power you control or wield

@@laborc8929 I can see them giving all the unlocks on a silly remaster. Maybe they could've had a menu option for original loadout or unlocked. I do agree that the new characters weren't new. Just silly assets mapped to buttons. Didn't even bother trying them. If I'm playing Jedi power battles it's to be a Jedi. As far as the rest being clunky and old, it is clunky and old, haha. They just polished it a bit. Didn't remake it
