I purchased the ultrapress ti but i think im going to return it for the 24oz ti or the orginal geopress and get the nesting pot. It seems a little un-sturdy ontop of my pocket rocket 2 , i think the fatter bottle of the 24 oz or the nesting pot of the orginal would be better

Blackfin's are a bit overbuilt for noobies. Honestly if it's your first paddleboard, dropping ~$200 on iRocker's Nautical line, $300 for a full carbon paddle and $125ish for a pump is WAY more bang for buck than the Blackfin packages, for a noob getting into the sport. Once you know what you want out of the sport, white water/touring, racing ect, then buy a very nice board specifically for that. You'll already have the carbon paddle for it too, which is perfect for everything except whitewater.

I'm about to buy 3 of their hats, the white captain, olive odyssey brick camo, and finally the black hat that you have. Just curious, has your black hat faded? I see mixed reviews of folks who have had theirs fade, I regularly wash my performance hats or don't wear them all the time and I'm wondering if they're anti fading
I have had them now for over a year. I have jumped in the pool, ocean, sand, grease, dirt, roadtrips you name it and I have not seen them fade. I know it’s expensive, but it was worth the investment for me! 🤙🏼

It’s most likely your bulbs burnt out at the same time. Lights don’t typically blow fuses, A/C does for sure

It may or may not be worth it so that is what I’m trying to figure out. Thanks again for the straightforward and realistic content. And something I wish I did was 3 way switch it to the front of the van. So I could turn the back lights off when the kids turn them on in the middle of the day! 🤙🏼

Kordova? Never heard of It i have two packs over $300 each made of 500D cities nylon neither one if them even lasted two years because if tears in the fabric because if the friction from the DC class 10 you zippers. Yet the other bags I have are made if 1000D corners and they are still like brand new I have never felt the extra weight but I can feel its durable nature. They do this on purpose so the bags can wear out sooner and you have to buy a new one..

I'm curious about the sensors. You say passenger front and driver rear. Mine is an 08'. Do you know if all years are the same? My light is on so at least one is now junk.
I’m not 100% sure that the sensors are in the same place for the 08s. But I do know they didn’t change much from 08-18!

I cant say anything against the other review on the wear aspect of the cliq. I have a total of 6 (4 pack for the camper and 1 in each vehicle). Haven’t had an issue except one of the bolts came loose and after verifying purchase, CS sent replacement part(fyi. Occasional maintenance of a screwdriver is recommended) Have had these for 7, 6 and 5(4 pack) years. The one in my car was used daily at multiple different locations per day for about 5 years while traveling for work.
I seem to just grab one and not really care which one it is! They are both really nice!
This was a great video. I checked the fuse and checked that the blower fins were moving, by going through the air filter. I have no power and nothing lights up on the dashboard. Is there another fuse to make the fan buttons work?
Shoot buddy I’m not too sure about the fuse for the A/C controls! Look up fuse panel diagram for your year and it will most likely show it!

Thanks for the review. I agree with pretty much everything you said. I have a bunch of Melin hats and stopped buying them for a while due to the price but after going through many other brands I’ve come back to Melin. Branded Bills might be the closest competition but I think Melin is better.

If you don’t over fill the rocks it will fit. If you fill to the top it won’t! Ps love the pic of vernal falls!

After my surf session with my friends, we decided to go to the local O’Neill shop that’s I found the hats in the display area soon as I picked it up I couldn’t help but notice how amazing it felt and then I saw the price tag and I was like holy fuck they’re almost $100, but I tried it on my big head. I fell in love size is perfect but the XL fits even better and looks better but they didn’t have the color I want. They only had like these blue and black cap so I went online and just ordered one, but now I see other selection and colors I might just place another order.
Love it! They are super comfortable! Yeah $100 is steeeeep for a hat! But I have had my 3 for over a year and they show no wear. Saves money over time!
This would be a much better review if you actually went through your daily use for this and all of the stuff that you actually carry. Nobody cares about a big jacket and some pens in the pockets. This is not what people are looking for in a review. You say that you use it to carry computer equipment and only show a camera stick come out of it. How big is your laptop? Show it in the bag! All of the info you provide can be found on the website. Appreciate your time putting the video together though.

I have the other version of this which I think is the flipside heating pad. I have a bedroll type sleeping bag and It slips in between the layers of it. Very cozy. This thing is a game changer for sleeping in the cooler weather, definitely worth the money.

I can’t seem to pull the bulb out even though I’ve squeezed the tabs. Shouldn’t gloves be worn so as to not touch the bulb adding oils to the glass part? That’s what I’ve been taught with bulbs.
The oil on your hands can affect bulbs so try not to touch the new one. The old one is probably stuck. Mine were very difficult to pull out!
What size are you typically on fitted hats and on melin?
7 1/4” and I’m a Classic fit 🤙🏼
Is the 3500 same procedure?
I believe the 3500 has a different spec for the filter. Double check that but installation should be almost identical!

Great question! I use Waze to get me on the highway and then when I get close to the destination I’ll use onX to get offroad. Once I’m in the dirt I only use onX

How do you replace the water separator hose?? Mine popped off twice spilling a great deal of diesel in the process. Looking for some help on replacing this part. Thanks
There is an E-clip or C clip that you need to slide it in to lock it down. This is critical so the hose doesn’t pop off
The clip was attached and the hose came off regardless. I am carrying a medium sized load and hauling a car with a tow dolly. Figured this would increase the fuel pressure and it seemed to cause the e clip to fail, this the hose came off twice. How can I replace the water separator hose??@@EventheWavesYT
@JoePfander is it disconnecting lower in the system or at the filter?
The water separator hose is coming off at the connector with the e clip that connects to the built in sensor on the fuel filter (nipple attachment with the o ring). Bought a new fuel filter and a new water separator hose to fix the issue. Any ideas of what might have caused the issue?
Sometimes it seems as though the water separator hose is all the way on, but it really needs to be pushed hard to get all the way on. It has to go past the gasket and then the e-clip will work. I did that one time where I thought it was pressed on all the way and it wasn’t.
