This is a fast utility/transport vehicle. They can actually go places tanks will get stuck, also mine proof It might stop some anti-tank weapons, if they hit that metal mesh around it, it will detonate it early. I think that is the idea

@@BlatentlyFakeName the bar armour is specifically for RPG-7 warheads. The rocket will get stuck between the bars and the top of the warhead won’t hit the vehicle, even if it does RPG-7 has a design flaw, the front of the warhead has two metal cones an inner which is used to transmit the electric charge from the piezoelectric crystal in the top being crushed and the outer is structural, but if both cones are touching the electric charge from Crystal crushing won’t be strong enough to detonate the warhead. Essential it shorts it out. Unfortunately most RPG warheads also have a “safety” fuse which ignited when the rocket is fired and causes the warhead to self destruct after 6-8 seconds. I have been in a mastiff that’s taken a RPG hit. It got stuck in the bar armour and detonated a couple of seconds later. No dramas nothing punctured the vehicle and the top cover gunner was able to drop down inside before it detonated likely saving him from hearing damage.

Are you expecting Ukrainian military personnel to fire at their own vehicles? These will be used by Ukrainian forces - they've been promised by BoJo. He has a long list of major flaws, but so far, the UK has been pretty helpful to Ukraine.

Their stuff is great, but the problem is you kinda have to jump through hoops to buy their armour, unlike with most companies.
