Will smith apologises for keeping Speed in his locker which carlton accidentally took and ended up in hospital. He cries. With real tears :O Very sad part of the episode. Episode 3x19 - Just Say Yo.

Just testing out the car on a fully charged battery. Its got a nice bit of torque, but cant get up to speed in the tiny room so cant get any really nice drifts. Going to get some footage outside soon.

This is my first ever modification (besides abs drift wheels), so be nice. =P I know it needs a lot of tidying up in the interior.

Epic song to an epic opening sequence. I cut together some stuff here. Was pretty simle, but i think it worked quite nicely. Best listened to/watched in a dark room with surround sound :D But if you cant, just enjoy it how it is =]
Small black powder bomb

Black powder bombs. The music kind of diminishes the bang. But you can hear the birds fly the hell out of the tree's and you can hear the echo. These babies are loud.

I don’t understand this scene Carlton is old enough to know not to take pills. He don’t know what it is true we should not have had those pills. He should not have excepted those pills from that kid but what responsibility is Carlton going to take out of this it always seems like those three kids, never take responsibility for what they do all they are spoiled, especially feel dumping on wheel when this could’ve been avoided Carlton not taking those pills he wouldn’t have gotten hurt. We didn’t hurt Colton. We did not put those pills in his hand. We did not tell him to take the pills, I just don’t feel breaking him down behind his. That’s just like saying you got a gun you locked a gun up. You hit the key and your child’s friend breaks the box and takes it and plays with it and somebody gets hurt. Carlton had no business going inside wheels locker. Carlton had no business taking something that wasn’t his.
Carlton wanted some type of headache pain I think and will told him he had some in his locker. It’s not Carlton’s fault for not knowing it was speed.
We all need an unccle phil 🙏
What a fantastic show. I would watch at grandmas house. If I'm a decent person this show is at least a small reason why.
This show was all fun and games and then had moments like this that not tugs but yanks on those heart strings. That’s what made this show great. We can laugh and joke and have fun but reality is life isn’t always.
It was a couple of deep scenes on this show and this one still makes me cry to this day when I see it 😢
The most hurtful part in my mind was when Uncle Phil tells Will "My son could've died because of you"as oppose to say "your cousin could've died because of you". Its almost like he's taken a back seat in the family for a moment, an outsider.
Aww bless him ❤❤
Years later they use this storyline and made Carlton a junkie in the reboot Bel Air.
R.I.P. 🪦James Avery
This is a very strong scene. Because of Phil's response. But also because of the rest of the family's. Especially Carlton's. Nobody became irate. Nobody started distancing Will from the nucleus. They were shocked and angry. Justifiably. But they didn't abuse or cast Will out. Carlton bowed his head. Upset for himself but upset for Will too. Beautiful.
Speed.. that's good stuff 😊
DRUGS ARE GOOD
THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS why you should NEVER ABUSE DRUGS!!!!!
He started to fall apart when he said sorry to Aunt Viv 😖
I think I remember laughing at Will breaking down when I first saw this episode air on Nick at Nite because that was the first time I saw Will crying in that show but I didn't pay attention to this episode, I remembered some of the dialogue and what happened to Carlton but when you pay attention to what this episode was about from beginning to end it was no laughing matter. Watching it now makes me sympathize with Will and understand the mistake he made. I give credit to Will for telling the truth to his uncle.
One of the best shows ever , don't make them like that anymore
We need more sitcoms like this nowadays that teaches kids and people what the real issues are in this world. There’s nothing like the fresh prince out there and never will. This show hit home and I still watch clips of it till today. Most sitcoms are repetitive and boring nowadays which is why I never watch them. This show was funny and it was serious at the right times. Man I miss this show!
Season tickets for the clippers? I though it was supposed to be a reward
Lmao the 90s clippers too 😂
This hurts me more than his father leaving.
U gotta give will credit it takes a person with a big heart and a lot of courage to man up like that and take responsibility for something that stupid 😊
It is more important to NOT do drugs than to stay awake and party. One’s life is more important than a party.
He owes Chris Rock an apology
He already apologized, but you people wanna make apologies a weak thing and still don't focus on the present.
@lorivera94 show me his apology
Will Smith was quite an actor in his youth, for such a young man to accomplish this scene too break down & cry like he did was a great performance
If all kids confessed to what they've done...
From that episode, it wasn't easy for will to confess to Uncle Phil about what happened to Carlton.
Because it wasn't his fault
This was a great show. I remember watching as a white teenager and while that shouldn't matter I think it did. Because I didn't see them as a black family I saw them as a family who has up and downs like every family. Uncle Phil was always my favorite character.
I respect Will for owning up to what he did even though it was stupid.
I like how carton almost overdosed on caffeine pills
This is was blurry I thought it was Will Smith and Chris Rock hugging it out.
35 years old and this scene still hits hard 😢
I think Will Smith is the best cryer I've ever seen on screen.
Uncle Phil and Shaq, two big fellas with big hearts.
You will never find a better tv example of a great dad. Uncle Phil is the best. Tough love with a heavy emphasis on love.
I woulda just gave em to Carlton and kept it pushin😭😭😭
Don’t Scream Will Smith
This scene always gets me
Don't ever tell me "Will Smith can't act.".
This series is better than full house when it comes to sad scenes
Everyone was just hanging out in the kitchen and couldn't hear any of the yelling before being called in?
Uncle Phil is a goat for this scene, but are we completely ignoring the thing that Will just did? Yes he made a huge mistake with having Carlton in the hospital, but he literally decided to take full responsibility by owning up to his actions to Uncle Phil when Carlton completely covered for Will and forgave him and even said that he wanted to forget the whole thing. I mean he cared so much about Carlton that he felt so guilty about hiding his mistake and just decided to own up to it on his own. That’s family right there!! ❤️❤️❤️
This scene is more than 20 years old and it STILL gets me in tears.
It's actually more than 30 years old. Crazy.
Weird part I feel like gets skipped, what happened to the preppy who sold the drugs?
It woulda meant more if Carlton hugged him
I like fresh prince.
“At your highest moment, be careful. That's when the devil comes for you” - Denzel Washington
That got me so emotional after he broke down of letting Carlton take pills.
This hits close to home for me since my brother nearly died from a suicide by overdose. Had he not texted my parents about what he was doing, he probably wouldn’t be here today.
The most important thing to gather from this - Will did not need to do this. He did it because it was the right thing. He didn't want them to think that he was a hero, when he knew he was the reason Carlton might have died that day. He really did love his family and this proved it. That is true courage and selflessness. I am sure Phil recognized that as soon as he started crying.
He didn't because WHT was carlton in his locker taking pills that weren't his
First things first, rest in peace Uncle Phil 💜
It was actually Carltons own fault... He went in wills locker without asking will and he took the pills thinking they were aspirin... Will did not give them to him nor did he send Carlton to his locker... Ppl shoud take responsibility for their own actions!! Will owed them nothing....
Actually Will told Carlton to check his locker because he needed some vitamin letter
This is kind of a 🤓 moment for me
@PLAYPUSTURTLEPLATYPUSTURTLE still why is carlton taking someone else's pills
