    Thank you a million times for this demonstration!! My mom had a stroke 2 months ago & just came home from a SNF and they gave me no training whatsoever 😢 most videos on TH-cam have able-bodied people pretending to need assistance, not a person who actually needs it so this is a lifesaver because it’s actually realistic. 👍🏻😊

    Looks like you lifted with the belt.If you reach around the patient and grasp the belt with the hands approx,5 inches apart then you use your forearms to grasp the pt.,you have their wt on your arms and not on the belt.You use the belt as an anchor point for your hands and have you arms more under the rib cage on both sides.27 yrs as a PTA in Nursing homes and Home Health.Worked for me.

    Thanks! I had aFib and thought I controlled it with magnesium. But then I went on the Keto diet and my heart went crazy. I've been trying for a week to figure out what went wrong.. I had no idea it was electrolytes. Good call! By the way, there are some better alternatives to this brand, with no sugar, so more Keto friendly.

But I did start drinking the Ade everyday and haven't had hardly any issues since then! Plus yes, I'm using the bathroom regularly now, that's a plus!

It has been 30 mins and my heart rate dropped from 137 to 87 and I can't feel it pounding out of my chest anymore AND it is balancing out. Getting my energy back. Can't wait to see how I feel later today. Thank you so very much!! I was not about to go for another 3 day stay at the hospital again.

    Magnesium and Zinc are both essential nutrients for health. Magnesium supports muscle relaxation, nerve, heart, and bone health. Zinc is vital for normal growth and development, and supports the body's natural immune defense system. Plus essential Electrolytes are substances that have a natural positive or negative electrical charge when dissolved in water. They help your body regulate chemical reactions, maintain the balance between fluids inside and outside your cells, and more. Also the Vagus Nerve stimulation and general relaxation of the nervous system. Also look out for T4 syndrome, almost most of your nerves pass through this area in the back and if your T4 T6 area is tight then it can cause false nervous messages especially regulating heart, breathing and sweating. Unfortunately, T4 Syndrome is a very poorly understood and often unrecognized condition. As a result, no one confidently knows what T4 Syndrome is. However, it appears to involve two primary defining characteristics. First, spine and rib cage stiffness are always present in T4 Syndrome. This is no different than someone without T4 Syndrome who has, for example, a stiff and painful back. Of note, the part of the back typically involved with T4 Syndrome is located between the shoulder blades. The second characteristic involves a disruption of the autonomic nervous system. While that might not make sense immediately, many people will recognize the symptoms described above, which are often involved with this disruption. However, people with T4 syndrome can have a highly variable presentations so not everyone experiences the same manifestations. Furthermore, the autonomic nervous system impacts nearly every tissue in the body. This far reaching reality might explain why T4 Syndrome can have such a huge array of symptoms.

    I wish it were this simple. Electrolytes - especially magnesium and potassium - can play a huge role, but there are many others, and there is no silver bullet. The closest one there is, however, is weight loss for those with afib who classify as obese. Dropping those lbs will lower blood pressure and reduce the severity of sleep apnea - the two biggest causes of afib.

    • @CS-uc2oh
      @CS-uc2oh 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It actually is this simple, fat or not. Carrying a lot of weight is a SYMPTOM of metabolic disease and should never be the focus to better health. You'll lose weight with a better diet.

      @gdude7397 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

    It’s typical for elderly to UTI’s bc of their lack of intake of water, diets…sugar!! and UTI’s can be hereditary( I know, crazy). Try to increase water intake , offer water and watered down juices/ electrolytes drink. Make to assist to the BR every2 hours to make sure they are staying dry. Females might be low on estrogen which causes increase dryness and with the urine ( bc it’s acidic) gets in the cracks of dryness and it burns. This I know bc I’ve done senior care for quite a while and hospice care. Im able to just look at urine and smell it and detect a UTI a mile away. 😂 Make sure to assist seniors with wiping properly..front to back, keep area dry( but not overly dry), if you use wipes PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE FRAGRANCE FREE AND FOR SENSITIVE SKIN AND PLEASE MAKE SURE U HELP DRY AREA…DON’T LEAVE WET!! Use Vaseline to help dryness..you will need to talk to Dr if low on estrogen. I, too, have started my mom on D- Mannose power bc antibiotics don’t work any longer. Speak to your drs about using this for prevention of UTI’s. And, if you see any blood or pinkish to light reddish in color in urine….please be into the dr bc folks can go septic QUICKLY!! God bless!

    The important electrolyte for AF is magnesium which needs to be balanced with potassium. Over 40% of Americans are deficient in magnesium. The source matters with magnesium glycinate or taurate good ones and the magnesium oxide sold in food stores not so good.

    You may have saved by husband’s life. He has Parkinson’s and his symptoms suddenly worsened and he became non ambulatory and non verbal and eventually hospitalized and DNR’d during the winter storm in January 2024. The regional healthcare, from Nuero to Primary Care to ER and hospital docs failed to diagnose his UTI, although teams of urologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists and family doctors descended like an episode of House and ran many other tests including MRI, CT. Their diagnosis: worsening Parkinson’s and basically sent him home to die. Parkinson’s is not known for abrupt changes so I started watching TH-cam videos looking for something, anything that could explain why one week he was ok and the next week he’s not and saw your video on UTI. With a little research on my part, I asked his doctor for macrobid and requested UTI test. Doc prescribed a few pills prior to the culture results. After ONE PILL, YES ONE PILL, he was speaking in full sentences and attempted to stand. After four pills he was much improved. It’s been a few weeks now and he is almost completely recovered from the ordeal. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this video!
