Met up with a buddy at Silver Lake who just rebuilt the top end in his KTM. We were able to get a couple drag races and 2 laps in before the engine grenaded.

Last Snowmobile Ride of the Season! Worst Season Ever!

Had our last ride of the season at home in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Still had a blast. As always, we could have used a lot more snow. Who knows, maybe Michigan will bring another snow storm!
Low Snow Conditions in Michigan! Ravine Climbing and Wide Open Fields

Riding in our backyard before the snow melts! With low snow conditions we have a lot of exposed logs and areas we could not get to. But, we had fun with the snow we had.
Enjoying First Snow Storm in Michigan for 23/24 Season

Went out riding after the first snow storm of the season. Started out of Bear Lake and headed towards Traverse City. Forgot to bolt on the sway bar, making the handling terrible on the sled. Was a great start to the season!

Ripping the ProXp on Our Short Course

Wanted to make a video of our short course on my families property. Awesome layout especially with the grass being so tall making a lot of blind corners. Should we do a time trial against the modded YXZ?! comment below!

Great jumps, Silver Lake id our Happy place
Hey brother, Where are you guys from? I’m in Lake City looking for guys to ride with once I FINALLY pull the trigger and get me a rig. I’m so indecisive on what to get. Pro XP, Pro R or S, or the one I’m more leaning to in the YXZ turbo.
Always a fun day riding the dunes
The leader allows waits for the rider behind him... intersections; stop signs; crossing roads.
Keep it up... Michigan will be like Wisconsin... SPEED LIMIT 25MPH ON ALL ORV TRAILS AND ROUTES.
What a Dick!!!! You should got a warning!!
Totally unnecessary, the dnr is that hard up for funds. Yeah there suppose to be on the back, he could’ve gave him a warning though.

Are any of these trails one way? If not how many close calls have you had on the corners?
No, they are not. I ride here with an atv. The trails are ridiculously fast which is a big hazard. The minimum width is 8 feet. There aren't too many 90 degree corners but there are some which are completely blind. The trails feel wide down the straights but you have to pull to the side to let someone pass most of the time. I cannot imagine two 72" meeting each other. You can drive trucks, jeeps, etc. as well. But yes, you are asking for trouble if you drive this fast meeting someone doing the same in the other direction. I'm sure there are quite a few collisions during the season but I haven't heard of anyone getting killed... yet. It's bound to happen though.
@@cosinesquared4125 to drive like that on such a narrow two way trail with such a wide machine is insane and very true its asking for trouble.
Seem a little reckless!
Just bought a 24 yxz1000r 6 speed manuel. Love it so far! Wish PA had trails like this, our trails are full of rocks. Its more like rock climbing
I’m sorry to say, but your friends there in the blue razor I will go find new friends and a bunch of idiots
Wow, nice friends there they left you way behind. Don’t they realize I can go faster cause they’re like a vehicle and you’re just in a ATV what happens if you flipped or hit a tree they wouldn’t even know it. You might as well go right off by yourself. They left you behind.
Far the best machine I ever own! All stock and don't know about upgrade for turbo kit yet, but stock with 180 hp seems more than enough for me. As I finally got my friend ride with me, he was super impressive with it, and it is literally like a race car.
It has nowhere near 180hp stock. It has roughly 110hp at the crank and about 90 at the wheels.
@StevePaige Could be and who know 🤷♂️ and I traded in for new Can-Am Outlander xt850 to keep it more rideable often. I was exciting to get into jet ski until about a year later start feeling bored out abit and lost interest.. If I live right by the lake on the dock I'd probably kept it. Speed is fun but can get bored pretty quick.
We need another video with the yxz! how are they up there with the width? I have 4+3 wheels with 30" bfg's curious how strict they are?
great video, 1st- all directions on posted on their website, 2nd-you need to keep the work "um" out of your videos lol. you said UM probable 100000000times
Good! Tired of dealing with these jackasses tearing up roads and trails
I was pulled over by the same officer 😂
Not the DNR…..guess y’all cannot read……either.
enjoyed the trail rip What trails in Michigan?
17:39 you wanna meet up so i can get a better view there pal? you offering like this is confusing
I have seen at least 15 bad crashes in corners because people think they are sooo talented and can go this fast.
15! Wow congrats that’s impressive
Haha Move then .
Promo_SM 🤦
Well done you sir are truly ripping that shit 🤘🏴☠️🤘I own one too and know what video hides badass!!
Thanks bro!
Man, you guys rip!! 🤞for more snow.
What you got 600, 650, 850?
Don’t understand people who ride like this
The funny thing is I grew up riding those trails and still riding them today lol it’s funny how u guys are riding in maple city, Thompsonville and copemish haha I know that trail system so well lol
At the all your doing is scratching up your machine
Nice video. I cant wait to take my prairie 665 in july
What kind of skis you guys running?
Slp Mohawk. The only skis worth buying
we run a few different ones. On the sled with the gopro we have SLP Mohawks. On the black and blue Indy we have Slydog Attack and on the red and white Indy we have Slydog Powder Hound 7's.
keep em coming
Omg so much talent when I get older I wanna be just like you.
You can only dream 😉
Probably the mountain strap and ice scrappers
lets see the yxz on it!
This thing looks so planted. What's the suspension set up?
shocks were set up by Schmidty Racing and sway bar, and has a front shock relocation bracket from
if you haven't upgraded your sway bar yet and you plan to. Go with Double E racing sway bar.
That was my exact plan. Just ordered the full graves exhaust, I have the rayscar gusset and shock relocation bracket. wondering if i should do sway bar next or shocks.@@michigansledaddicts
You ever have problems with the loud exhaust up there? What maps app are you using? Im supposed to head up there in a few weeks
We have never had an issue with our loud exhausts on any of our machines. As long as you are respectful when around towns you are good. For the lower peninsula I use the Polaris ride command. In the UP I use VV Maping
By far the best video I've seen of one of these. Definitely should film more!
just uploaded another video
Agree not many good yxz riding videos out there. This is gold!
What cage are you running?
Nine eleven fab in Ohio. Best out there
Um trail breaking? Someone did it like the day before!
just my brother who is in front of me who you see at the end on red sled
😊
This is cool
wheres this at?
East of L'Anse on UP 14 maybe 1/4 towards Big Bay
@@michigansledaddictsthanks!
Wups a daisies.
no offense dude .....but you had no clue how to ride off trail..... even in those low snow baby conditions that sled was perfectly capable.......

We've been riding cross country since the early 90's and hand held gps's. There are so many of these areas like you were riding that had been logged in the past but ultimately dead end to sleds fun to bomb around in but don't take you anywhere. The national forest roads and trails are the best imo
