    I have been thinking for awhile on why you use a session plan. Not just for the obvious reasons, but for the actual mechanism. I think I have it. It seems to me that if one were to use the marriage problem to determine the best exit points, then you'd need to create a session plan. You could figure out what your expected results would be across say, 100 spins and then simulate those many times to come up with various exit points depending on the variance of the current session, and then using markov chains exit with a small loss, small profit or large profit. Have I got that right? The idea or concept of it anyway? I was happy to see you mention markov chains as well, excited to see what you have to say on the topic in future videos.

    Some very questionable ball movements at the end where you’d filmed it in slo-mo. I don’t want to think that there’s trickery or manipulation going on here on the part of the casino, but evidence like this makes it difficult not to! I’ve always assumed casinos wouldn’t need to cheat because of their built-in mathematical advantage in the game, but as they know which pocket will cost them the most before the ball lands, the temptation to ‘divert’ the ball somewhere safer must be huge!!

      There is always a lot of talk about casinos cheating or not - for the majority of players it is perhaps a lack of understanding around probability where an inexperienced player might cry foul play because a dozen missed 10 or 15 times in a row. However other players do report "extreme" occurrences that are statistically unlikely - however they rarely have any recording of such events so its very difficult to prove. We did explain one way casinos might be able to cheat us and do it virtually undetected about halfway through episode 5 of DCC th-cam.com/video/7LhT3_CEQKw/w-d-xo.html We attended the ICE expo which is for the gambling industry a number of years ago posing as a potential online casino start-up, we do not have any evidence but we explained we were concerned about cheaters playing on our roulette tables and we was told by a software vendor that "protection" is in place which would imply the casino's have control to some extent. Casino's fear advantage players - take card counters in black jack, its not illegal but if you get caught doing the casinos will kick you out (or worse). If you read the terms and conditions of any online casino it usually forbids you from using a "system" in the small print, yet of course everyone does and they are aware of it, most systems like the martingale they welcome you to play it as they know they will win the money back The importance of this first series was to establish a baseline using a flat bet, if the casinos have protection in place then this bet (regardless of value) will go unnoticed as it is a legitimate bet, it isn't a system. But we guess that they are able to detect progressions and perhaps their "Protection" is able to disrupt various players on various spins if it is sophisticated enough. This is probably done at the game provider level not the casino level. (as pointed out in DCC S1E5 link above) In series 2 we will be using some kind of system to see if the calculable results we have seen in the first series become "unstable" with a different type of bet. It shouldn't matter the value of the bet size, casinos will want to protect their revenue from any player, otherwise a hundred small betters will cause them just as much damage as one large better. This is all theory, but the whole point of producing ongoing DCC series, which has attracted some interesting comments along the way, but no concrete evidence as yet. There is one valid point in the casinos favour though - if you cannot design a system that will beat fixed spins like we are doing in the new Roulette System Testing series, then you cant expect it to beat live spins either.

    • @Avi_GenX
      @Avi_GenX 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@roulette-professional What do you think their "Protection" against the players is? Is it the wheel and ball spin manipulation that can affect the outcome? Is the result predetermined even before the spin happens? A lot of examples are shown on TH-cam when the ball makes unnatural moves or gets stuck against the divider. I experienced it myself. And I'm not talking online casinos, but B&M. I bet on a lot of numbers, but the ball got stuck/glued on a divider between 4/16 where my whacks were. That was 00 wheel. The ball did not drop even as the wheel came to a very slow spin. I took a couple of pictures. It's too bad there is no way to attach them here. So anyway, I guess it's not just online roulette manipulation but B&M casinos also.

    what would happen if you had two players playing opposite colors (inside numbers) it looks like you see the repeaters on the strings of red and black. You would have to play them separately because you could have a streak of one or the other color. I don't think i ever seen 18 Eunique red or black in arrow they usually repeat before that. You would have to run the math for each player. But there's a good strategy in there somewhere.

    • @roulette-professional
      @roulette-professional 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You make a good point and you are right, if you considered just betting on the most recent 9 black as a set and the most recent 9 reds (if there are already repeats in there then include the next most recent number - i.e. if Red 1 has recently repeated include it but only count it as one entry to your set of 9) then use a 9 pocket progression for each of your bets - you could try the last 6 or 7 or 12 of each colour - experiment with it - we might do a video on that - its a great idea with a lot of merit!!

      The answer lies in geometric loss level data. Take any pocket or set of pockets and you can calculate how many loss levels you will see in a given number of spins. so if you play say a hundred spins per day for a month then that's 3000 spins. And this is why i beleie you wont see or feel cheated when playing your strategy - The Impact of Flat Betting vs. Variable Betting in a Potentially Manipulated Casino Casinos often rely on player behavior to introduce subtle manipulations in the game-especially when players vary their bet sizes. This behavior creates opportunities for casinos to exploit, but the flat bettor is largely immune to many of these effects due to the simplicity and consistency of their strategy. Why Flat Betting Shields Players from Manipulation Flat Betting Removes Emotional Triggers: A flat bettor who consistently places $1 bets on each spin maintains a steady and predictable wagering pattern. This eliminates the emotional highs and lows that come with winning or losing larger amounts of money. Players who bet bigger when they are feeling confident or when they are trying to recover losses (chasing losses) are more likely to see "unusual" outcomes during those critical moments. Since a flat bettor is not increasing their stake in response to the game’s results, they won’t be emotionally invested in the way variable bettors are. This makes them less likely to feel the effects of a string of unexpected losses. Predictable Outcomes: Flat betting means that each outcome, regardless of the result, has the same impact on the player’s bankroll. Whether the player wins or loses, the net change per spin remains consistent. If the casino is manipulating results to take advantage of players chasing losses or betting bigger after wins, the flat bettor is insulated from these tactics. They aren’t increasing their bet size during winning streaks or reducing it after losses, so the manipulation aimed at variable betters doesn’t affect them as much. Casino Software Targets Bigger Bets: Casinos can use adaptive software to detect when players increase their stakes, often signaling emotional betting patterns or desperation after a losing streak. When a player starts betting larger amounts, the software may adjust the game to trigger losses at critical times, wiping out those larger bets. However, since a flat bettor consistently wagers the same amount, there is no change in betting behavior for the software to exploit. The flat bettor is not giving the casino an opportunity to "target" specific larger bets, so they see a more predictable, less volatile outcome. Lower Perceived Volatility: With a consistent bet of $1 per spin, the volatility of the game appears much lower to the flat bettor. If they lose 10 consecutive spins, their total loss is $10-an amount that’s easily manageable and within their initial risk parameters. However, for a variable bettor who might increase their bets to $10 or more after a few losses, a losing streak would quickly become emotionally and financially draining. Since the casino’s manipulation strategies often target these moments of high emotional stress, the flat bettor remains relatively untouched by the volatility that variable bettors experience. Variable Betting Creates the Illusion of Manipulation Betting Bigger at Critical Times: Variable bettors often increase their bets when they feel confident or after they’ve suffered a string of losses. This is the perfect moment for casinos to introduce streaks of unexpected outcomes, as players are now risking larger amounts. The emotional attachment to these larger bets creates the illusion of manipulation when the player loses more than expected. Flat bettors don’t experience this, as they are not increasing their stake at any point. "Chasing Losses" Strategy is Easily Exploitable: When players try to "chase their losses" by doubling or significantly increasing their bet after a losing streak, they are opening themselves up to greater exposure. The casino’s algorithms can detect this pattern and introduce even more losses, forcing the player to lose more than they intended. Flat bettors, however, stick to their $1 bets, so there is no "chasing" behavior for the casino to exploit. The casino cannot manipulate outcomes in the same way because the player is not reacting emotionally to the game’s swings. Psychological Traps Don’t Work on Flat Bettors: Casinos rely on psychological traps-like giving a player small, frequent wins to encourage them to bet larger amounts. Once the player has increased their stakes, the casino can then deliver a devastating loss. A flat bettor, however, remains unaffected by this because their bet size remains constant regardless of how many small wins or losses they experience. This steadiness allows flat bettors to ride out streaks of wins and losses without being drawn into betting more than they originally planned. Perception of Fairness for Flat Bettors Consistency Over Time: Since flat bettors maintain the same $1 bet for every spin, they are not exposed to the same emotional highs and lows that come with larger swings in wins and losses. This creates a perception of fairness, even in games that might be subtly manipulated. The bettor will experience a relatively steady loss rate over time, as the house edge works against them, but they won’t notice the extreme swings that could signal manipulation to a variable bettor. Smooth Win/Loss Patterns: In a game that might have slight manipulations designed to take advantage of emotional betting patterns, a flat bettor will still experience a smooth, expected distribution of wins and losses. The long-term statistical fairness will remain intact for the flat bettor because they are playing in a way that minimizes volatility and doesn’t trigger the casino’s manipulative tactics. Why Bigger Bets Expose Vulnerabilities High-Risk Moments: Players who vary their bets, especially by increasing the amount during critical moments, expose themselves to the casino’s ability to introduce improbable outcomes. A player who bets $10 on a single spin after losing five consecutive $1 spins might notice a series of improbable results as the casino seeks to eliminate their larger bet. Flat bettors won’t experience these high-risk moments because they consistently bet the same amount. Emotional Attachment: The emotional attachment to larger bets makes players more vulnerable to perceived manipulation. When a large bet is lost, it feels much more significant than a small bet, even if both are part of the same overall losing streak. Variable bettors may feel that the casino is intentionally "picking" those moments to deliver a loss, while flat bettors maintain an even emotional state since every spin is equal in value. Conclusion Flat bettors remain largely immune to the subtle manipulations that casinos use to exploit emotional betting patterns. By maintaining a consistent bet size, they avoid the psychological traps that come with increasing their stake after wins or losses. In contrast, variable bettors are much more likely to experience improbable outcomes, especially when they bet larger amounts during critical moments. Over 100 spins, the flat bettor’s experience will appear more consistent and fair, whereas the variable bettor will often feel that the game is unfair or manipulated-especially if they suffer significant losses at key betting moments.

    Most players know casinos cheat from their personal experience, as we all have some sort of result to expectation barometer. I think that your channel is great, and I am ceratinly on your level when talking about data and analysis, but you make a cardinal mistake in your approach to judge whether casinos (both traditional and online) are "cheating" and for a more subtle approach - are they really random? So the test is surely a randomness test based on Chi-Square and Binomial Tests. Here is an explanation what most of us go through on a daily basis: Casinos' Long-Term Strategy to Mask Manipulation In both online and brick-and-mortar casinos, it is crucial for operators to maintain the illusion of fairness over the long term to avoid detection by regulators and third-party auditors. However, through clever manipulation of short-term outcomes, casinos can still create significant advantages for themselves, all while remaining within statistical expectations over a large sample size. Short-Term Manipulation with Long-Term Balance Casinos are well aware that players tend to focus on their immediate results-often in stretches of a few spins or sessions. This allows them to manipulate outcomes in the short term, creating streaks or unusual patterns that significantly disadvantage players. However, over hundreds or thousands of spins, the results can still balance out statistically. Here's how they manage this: Pre-Programmed Algorithms: Online casinos, in particular, can use software to manipulate game outcomes. The key is not to alter every spin, as this would be too obvious. Instead, the software might introduce extreme results (e.g., long losing streaks or runs of unlikely outcomes) during critical betting moments, such as when a player increases their stake. Over a long series of spins, the algorithm allows the expected probabilities to play out, so the game still appears fair when analyzed on a larger scale. Adaptive Manipulation: Casinos can use systems that track player behavior. These systems identify patterns in player betting and adapt the game accordingly. For instance, if a player is chasing losses or placing larger bets after a few losses, the system can introduce outcomes that lead to a quick depletion of their balance. Again, this happens in bursts or streaks that are hard to detect over a large sample size. Selective Streaks: Rather than focusing on individual outcomes, casinos may allow streaks to occur-such as long runs of red or black in roulette, or extended winning or losing streaks in baccarat or blackjack. These streaks seem random and rare when viewed in isolation but are introduced at pivotal moments for players who are betting heavily or are psychologically primed to chase wins. Over time, however, the overall balance of red/black or player/banker wins still falls within the expected range. Statistical Cover: The most sophisticated manipulation tactics involve altering outcomes for just enough spins to take advantage of players' betting behaviors, while ensuring that when a regulator or audit examines the game, the long-term results appear to follow expected statistical norms. Casinos can carefully introduce "bursts" of abnormal results, followed by longer periods of "normal" results, making it difficult to prove unfairness from an outsider's perspective. The Player's Experience To the player, the experience often feels like a game of bad luck-short-term losing streaks, unexpected outcomes, or streaks of near-misses. Casinos understand that players will often adjust their betting strategy based on perceived streaks, believing that they can "read" the game's patterns. Casinos use this behavior against players, creating psychological traps. Players may chase after a perceived winning streak or attempt to "ride out" a losing streak, only to be hit with well-timed losses that drain their bankroll. Balancing Long-Term Fairness with Short-Term Exploitation To avoid detection, casinos make sure that over long periods (thousands of spins or hands), the outcomes fall within the expected range. This protects them from accusations of unfair play, as the data will show results that align with theoretical probabilities. However, the short-term manipulation ensures that players are often put in situations where their strategies-especially aggressive betting or chasing losses-lead to quicker losses and larger profits for the casino. The Bottom Line What makes this tactic effective is the careful balance between short-term player manipulation and long-term statistical fairness. The game appears to function fairly over large numbers of spins, satisfying regulators and keeping players coming back. However, those streaks of unusual outcomes, introduced at just the right moments, can lead to significant player losses while keeping the casino's practices concealed behind a veil of randomness.

      How did you choose the numbers? We have also done similar with 21 pockets but treating them as 3x7 pocket progressions. We used the racetrack set to 3 and just place bets using the three recent winners as the bet centre, if the bets look like will overlap then we offset them a bit so we still had 21 pocket covered with overlap. It was fairly successful, but in the end you always end up with one of the progressions running away from you if you play it for too long.

      That's because what you're experiencing right now may just be a lucky period. I've been fooled by the wheel so many times into thinking I've found a system, only to see it break down after a while. For some systems it took several thousands of spins before they broke down completely. Be careful.

    I did 35 shorts of 100 spins in July adding a straight up every day from 1 to 35 and I stopped getting ‘profit’ on day 21 and there where only 3 ´profitable’ days between days 11 and 21. More bets mean a greater rollback on loss. I concur that higher coverage is a failing strategy. It’s almost more productive to treat roulette like a lottery.

    The title says: Can flat betting win? Assuming that the bet strategy is going to be entirely flat all the way. You are analyzing flat betting but later in the video you still turn to progressions. The Roulette Science channel says any strategy has a losing trend whether it's based on flat bets or progressions. And what does MitchellGale guy have to do with flat betting anyway?

    I similarly found that betting fewer numbers was more successful but through trial and error over the coarse of a few months, its interesting to see a more detailed analysis. I currently favor 6 numbers (I choose 28 to 33 on a double street bet but could probably be any 6 numbers) and use a progression that can go to ~25 partial losses before ~$1500 bankroll would be wiped out... wins generate small profits but it seems very difficult to get to lets say 30 partial losses before bankroll is wiped out because your total losses keeps growing fairly rapidly... would be really handy to know a bit more about how often a 20+ loss streak could occur as it seems fairly common to see atleast 1 in a long session.

      Have you considered perhaps funnelling say using the columns to feed into your set of six? so you are running three bets at the same time - check out this video for more details on that th-cam.com/video/AmauEmKy1lw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=P6F9cah28h6xoLlk Also you can work out very accurately how many times you might see loss level x to occur using geometric data - if you watch this video th-cam.com/video/ZIoAvogwaUI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N6K86ipUMfNCjQ8Q there is also a downloadable spreadsheet attached to that video on our website that will do this for you just enter 6 pockets and say 10,000 spins and it will show you how many times you will see a particular loss level occur.

      @DanJanMaz 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@roulette-professional Sounds good will check this out 😊. As for the funnelling I only really heard of it recently from your channel, at first thought it would potentially increase your spins if the outside funnel does hit (somewhat similar to when you bet on numbers that would act as a push and give you break even). It definately increases the total bankroll you would need to bring to the table.... honestly would have to run some numbers but ive never actually tested it out just yet.

    • @DanJanMaz
      @DanJanMaz 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@roulette-professional I took some time to look over the spreadsheet just trying to think about the data as it states for loss level 21/22 it would be 233/277 spins (when betting 6 numbers on a 38 number wheel. This generally makes sense since I have definitely seen atleast one streak of ~20-22 losses in a session and they probably do around 100-300 spins in a session depending if I sit at a regular table or at an electronic one that spins around 1 time per min. It definitely reinforces that if my strategy can reach loss level 30 it would be incredibly safe even in 1000 spin scenario (loss level 30 occurs after 1098 spins). Thank you for the assistance, I will have to spend more time to properly look into funnelling more as it will take some balancing of my bankroll

Any form of gambling can be destructive so if anyone has a problem they should seek professional help as soon as possible. Channels like ours are not here to encourage gambling but for those who do partake and are interested in the game then there are ways of increasing your skill or level of understanding like you can in poker. Most gambling is about math so the more you know the better your results will be. You may have tried everything you know, but I doubt you have tried everything there is to know, and neither have we, which makes the journey so interesting.

      @roulette-professional 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sorry but we completely disagree with you. Probability is math and roulette is all about probability. You can think up a system, calculate its outcome, then simulate it with accurate results. The simulator you use in your videos Roulette Royal by Mywavia isn't necessarily a true indication of a real roulette game. You can play for free, but the company also charges users real money if they want to play with more tokens / features etc, but you cannot win real money therefore it isn't seen as gambling and in turn is unregulated. Now I am not saying the spins are unrealistic, we haven't ever done any testing on it, but, if a game developer is going to charge for game tokens then they would probably want to maximise their investment and could legally manipulate the spins to sell more game credits, or perhaps they might let you win more often to keep you engaged? Maybe they do, maybe they don't, however we wouldn't use it as a trusted method of testing and certainly not the only method of testing.
