Will u guys finish the AT in the spring? U left here just in time ,,, it turned really cold !
Our plan is to start where we finished in NY in May. We’ll have about 800 miles to Katahdin.
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍
Been to shady maple a couple times when our kids were small .. you can eat all that “healthy “ PA Dutch food lol
That snake....yikes! 🐍 Great video of beautiful country!
Thanks for watching
One of our towns new young cops found out they are not TOTALLY harmless ,,,we had one that big on the street where there were lots of small children in an urban area . Cop went to pick him up and got bit .
They will bite but they’re not venomous.
Apparently buzzards are really sweet birds . Friendly and gentle .
Ice cream milkshake and hot dog sound perfect ! ❤
It was!
Trying to figure out the start , was thinking it was GA , believe thats where Robert REdford & Nick Noltie made a movie , something seemed familiar , can't remember name of movie
We started the ALT at Camp Daniel Boone in NC
@@ScenicRouteAdventures Got it now , it looked familiar , I'm in NC myself , Name of movie was A Walk In The Woods . I've been telling people on prepping channels that the AT was a good place to escape but looks more primitive than I thought . Just curious how cell phone serviceis in most places ? By the way your music is really good choices , one day will binge on all your videos
Cumberland Valley is the most boring section of the AT. Field Walks and highway crossings.
Great example on how to use the poles 👍
Will you be posting your gear like the shoes ?
We have a gear video we made in March called “What’s in our packs?”
Do you think maybe that pile of rocks was dumped there when they put that logging road in? That looks like all new growth you are walking through maybe it was cleared once upon a time for logging ?
Wow that sycamore !!
First time I ever saw so much ironweed !
Just found ur channel and finding it interesting how you are doing this …maybe I can convince hubs to drive from NJ to Ducannon to stay at that hotel and do a little hike
Do it!
I kniw😊 some Pennsylvanians that are terrified to cross some of those bridges😂… don’t look too close at them lol .
beautiful scenery
Thanks for posting!
Hello, I make walking sticks What time of pole are you using?
We use Hungry Hiker trekking poles.
Tennessee?
No. This is in Georgia near Helen and Hiawassee.
Awesome. I’ve always wanted to do the trail but for some reasons I didn’t. I will hike it vicariously through you. Btw I’m in Shenandoah county so not too far away. I love this area.
Is it common to see rattle snakes on the App Trail? How do you avoid surprising one? Aren't you afraid of that?
Rattlesnakes rattle to warn you they are there. They don’t want to bite you.
cool!
Very nice and muddy
Great seeing you on the trail today and for sharing your adventure with us. The videos are terrific. We hope you enjoyed the salt & vinegar chips. :) Safe travels!
Thanks again for the chips!
Debbie I don't think i'm brave enough to do this. You know my fear of snakes.
Nice video. The views are awesome. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's a VOR radio navigation station, from days long before GPS.
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍3
👍❤️
Great to meet y’all on trail today! 🥾❤️
Rodin and lookin - need the tshirt.
You two are so “cute” - what an adventure of life. I’m blessed to know that y’all are doing these things. If only that It proves that “it can be done”
Happy Trails, Trickle and Flow! It was great to meet you guys. Can’t wait to follow along with your TH-cam!
An honor to meet you as well...that was incredible trail magic!!! So appreciative of you and your subscribers for making it all possible.
Congratulations wedding anniversary 🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😊
Hallo
That’s my sister and brother-in-law. Living their dream!
You sound short of breath i go to the Dr.when get home
Nice meeting you guys today! Looking forward to following along. Happy Trails!
I didn't know about the mustard for cramps thing!
This is cool Debbie
Awesome you guys! What great memories you have for later in life!
Breathtaking scenery.
It's interesting to me - how little there is - of an ACTUAL TRAIL - unless your walking it - one would even notice. Beautiful stuff - Deb. I like your music choices too. Can y'all imagine what it would have been like BEFORE there were people coming through 'regularly' (if you could call it that?) and to think that those dumbass globalists try to get us all to believe that there's 'no land' for all the people...
Beautiful fall colors! Thanks for sharing, I need to get to this part of the AT
Glad you were able to get your truck taken care of. Those were gorgeous flowers, I really enjoyed seeing them. And the leaves were definitely brighter/more colorful. Happy trails!
Beautiful morning view, and Congrats on 100!!
7 days before rain, nice luck! But the rocky paths are surely annoying.
Once a forester, always a forester! I understand!
Marion's a great little town. The Lincoln Theater has some great shows. Saw the Dillard's there several years ago along with David Browning (Barney impersonator)
