mid air disintegration seems pretty rare ngl
long reply, but yes. it’s because in emergency landing, mid air disintegration only happens in insane and impossible mode. mid air disintegration is part of a kind of structural failure in emergency landing. structural failure differs from mid air disintegration because structural failure can happen in all difficulties. but in hard, insane, and impossible mode, it can happen as a scenario instead of just an event. another difference is that structural failure can happen to the wings, the vertical/horizontal stabilizer, and it can also happen when the structure is overloaded causing a failure. there is also a chance of a part of the fuselage breaking off, including the nose and the empannage/tail. On mid air disintegration, the first that breaks off is the tail, which will never change.

so, in my understanding, mid air disintegration can only happen in insane and impossible, is in some sense structural failure, and symptoms of your plane suffering from this is the tail breaking off

My type is Heavy Rockets orbit earth w/infinite fuel Example: Saturn v Full rocket and more I did: Soyuz, Space Shuttle, Saturn V, Giant rocket booster and the last one, Super heat shield rocket (orbits Sun) and thats it
Me who literally just built space shuttle in the last 10 minutes, Saturn V 30 minutes ago, SLS 50 minutes ago, ISS 70 minutes ago, N1 90 minutes ago, starship one days ago, falcon 9 and falcon heavy 3 days ago, and knows you can’t rotate the rocket so early becuz it will probably fell: “da noob” (Although I really built those rockets, It’s just for entertainment purposes no offense)
