Hello thanks for the video. I’m struggling to find a virtual Soundcheck playback solution for my specific scenario. I’m using the Wing, sending 48 i/o to Logic through WDante. Up until there it’s good, I can monitor the recorded audio through the headphone jack or internal speaker. But Now I’m struggling trying to send the raw audio back to wing via Dante, to everything individual channel it was recorded from, so that I can run virtual sound checks. If possible can you or anyone in the comments help clarify this, or lead me to another good video? Thank you.

Thank you so much for doing these videos to help us understand the Wing better. Please do a video using the latest firmware update which is 1.12.8 as of 02/14/2023 so that the layout will be the same on the touch screen.

Hi Akron I created a 64 track project in Cubase 11, each track assigned an output from 1 to 64 In the Wing I activated the Alt outputs, I see all 64 signals coming in, I record everything Well I have 64 recorded tracks I start playback making sure that all 64 tracks are playing, I see 64 meters playing back from the WLIVE PLAY card, I try to route the outputs to hear all 64 from the speakers or headphones, but I see that Wing allows me via ALT only at most 48 tracks in playback, why? What do I need to have this expansion, if then even by recording 64, the maximum I can listen to and then use in a virtual mix and stop at 48? Am I wrong or is it a limitation of Wing? I hope you can help me Thank you

Another question is if I only put one card in the wing does it still record?

For some weird reason even though my wing has the wing card it never shows the record button as active av tried all sorts of cards and done the exact routing but nothing changes could my wing live card be bad?

where do mic preamps come into play? does each input have its own character or do u select it? im always confused about preamps

If my main output is our sanctuary speakers and the alternate is to the card...when I hit record will it still not come through the main sanctuary speakers. The band would need to here themself during recording but maybe I’m missing something?
