I did this cover when I was at the lowest point of my life, when everyday felt the same, seven days a week.
I turned the upbeat song into something depressing, which is meant to show how someone feels during depression, it changes you.
From start to finish u see how I slowly start loosing myself, trying to connect to my inner child and hold it together “pretending to be alright” trying to make my days feel lighter but always ending up in the same place, reminiscing in things I used to enjoy when I was younger.
If you feel the same way just know that you’re not alone and that together we can make every day feel a “delight” lol
