@@hughburka7491 look online on Ebay for a GM one or look at gmparts online there are a couple of different places be wary of the China knock offs

Just found you and thought your install without taking everything apart was a better choice. I have 2020 TrailBoss Z71, 1500 Silverado series. I have the light bar on the back and have the light bar for the front hood and the light straps for the steps. I paid someone to put the backnone on but want to do the rest on my own, so I will be looking carefully for your videos because there are not many that are very useful.

Just put the 6112s and 5100s on my 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4. All I can say is wow! Truck feels more planted, firm and no more boaty, body roll feel. Not stiff at all! Feels like a truck should have come from the factory.
My son just bought one he is 5'7" we bought the lowering links they're being delivered but do we have to adjust the kickstand for this new 2-inch drop? If so how is this accomplished? Thank you
Yes you will want to cut off the bottom of the kickstand AFTER the spring connection so you can still use your spring, cut just above the "foot" of the kickstand and just below spring connector and you will be fine for length. A muffler shop could do this cut and weld for cheap I did both of ours for 25 bucks, you just need to be SURE that you keep the orientation of the "foot" the same as it was so scribe a mark or 2 on the kickstand for reference before cutting. Thanks for watching please give a like and sub if you can, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the video. Im looking at doing these and some new upper control arms on my 2014 F150. 8 hrs you say...not looking forward to that.
There are a few things that would speed it up but it is indeed task. Could be quicker but allow a full day or you may get stuck being late for something, I also would book and alignment appointment in advance with a reputable front end shop, not a tire store with 20 year olds doing the work if possible. The wife’s opinion of ride quality is pretty significant considering the hit to the bank account😂 I’m currently on all original parts with 212k miles so you can imagine anything will be better than the squeaky death wobble I get now when I hit a crack in the road. I’m cheap so I wouldn’t mind a stiffer ride if the parts last longer. Leaning towards 5100s opposed to the Fox shocks. Thanks for the review
What do them lights actually do or are they just bling ?
Just increases visibilty in todays distracted drivers World and look great👍 so thst part is “bling” Thanks for watching and the comment💪🇺🇸
I have quad 4in tips because size matters🤣
I was looking at some stove pipe to run up through the bed like I saw on a Diesel up in Montana!
You don’t want to do that. Your truck is clean with tasteful mods👍
Naughty Donkey Performance doesn't own any jacks because this guy just lifts the truck up and sets it on the jack stand 🤣
Haha Thanks brother! I actually DO use a kack occasionally..
just got me a 2020 KLX300R. You only dropped the front bars down, correct? You didn't change the front suspension height?
Correct just dropped the bars. I did have to cut the kick stand off 1" just below the spring attachment and re-weld it be sure and mark with a scribe or something to keep the "foot" of the kickstand in proper alignment with the ground. Most muffler shops could cut the inch off and reweld it for you very inexpensively, if you have no access to such tools
Great video as I was looking at doing something like this and was considering the Brightsource lights, but these are more cost effective and look just as good.
@@northofknowhere130 still working perfectly never a hitch check out my other lighting vids and if you are into fitness check us out at Naughty Donkey Fitness right here in TH-cam
Unfortunately the 6112s are designed to be punished. Once you get some high speed washboard or crapy roads the suspension just starts to come alive and becomes very soft. The problem is that you really gotta get some speed going and since the shocks are not linear it kinda feels like you cant push them more but once you get passed into the second valve is just changes and becomes freaking awesomeness.
Thanks for your input and watching, I am always wanting others thoughts and opinions😀Hey if you are into fitness at all please check out our fitness channel. Naughtydonkeyfitness here and on instagram, FB and all that jazz

Does this void warranty?
Legally they say no and I have had mine in for service at the Chevy dealer and never has anything been said. However if I had a warranty claim to make I would take the 20 minutes to swap the throttle body and MAF sensor before taking it in. The cold air intake I would leave on as they sell a CAI as an option on these trucks right from the dealer. Here is some info that you may get value from. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson%E2%80%93Moss_Warranty_Act Thanks for watching and please subscribe I have some more stuff coming including some great classics to review.

How many hours did you do before first change?
About 15 hours of actual riding time, now we likely can do it at the beginning/ end of every season as our riding months are short but it costs so little that I know I will dump it at about 20-25 hrs max.

I hooked mine to the fog lights but they stay on what do you suggest?
So, when you are just using your driving lights they stay on or just when you turn on fog lights? What year is your truck?
Never mind I got it thank you! I connected the wire to the running lights fuse instead!
Interesting review. Every other review I've seen (from individual TH-camr's to companies like Shock Surplus) comparing the 6112 and the 5100's says the 5100s are rougher, so it's interesting that you would go with the 5100's for a softer ride.
Yeah the 6112's with the heavier coil spring and the strut with the heavier body and larger piston combined are super heavy duty and high quality but indeed seem to be harsh on this truck for a daily driver. IMO and I have had a few of these newer model trucks in the past few years. Thanks for watching and the comment!
@@naughtydonkeyperformance When you say "heavier coil spring" Are you running heavy duty coils on your 6112's? If so, that could be the cause of the rough ride because heavy duty coils requires a constant load of 200-400 to ride comfortable on road. Changing the coils to standard rate spring may improve the ride comfort on road/daily drive.
DO NOT FORGET TO PROGRAM YOUR GEAR RATIO! The Pulsar LT comes with a preset gear ratio (3.23 I believe) which is not applicable to all vehicle's its designed for. Find out what your gear ratio is and program it accordingly 👍 Edit: Hopefully this a no brainer but make sure you set both ratios to the same for 4x4.
Great video, very informative. It’s the way I’m going as well. What did you use for the strut bumper? The cap that sits on top of the OEM strut. Thanks
Look in the description, I have the part numbers for each component, or of you wanted to take your OEM ones apart you could use that one. Thanks for watching!
Does this void the trucks warranty? Or do i just revert the truck back to the factory when taking it in for its scheduled service? I hate the afm feature, but i just dont want it to lose its warranty status.
It does not and I have never removed it when taking it in for service etc No one ever mentioned it
With arms like that, do you even need tools? How is the ride with them on now?
Much improved over factory, firmer but more controlled and no sway in the corners. I wish I had done the 5100's on the front with factory springs as well. They are dirt cheap if you shop around for them, be sure and get the ones for your amount of lift or no lift, the rears as you see go on quickly and IMO are WELL worth it over the factory Ranchos
