As followers of Christ, we are called to love our friends enough to address their struggles with sin. ❤️ + share with someone who needs it Here’s how we can approach our friends: 1️⃣ Pray First: Ask God for the right words. Remember, this is about restoring a brother or sister, not condemning them. 2️⃣ Check Your Heart: Approach with humility, remembering we all struggle with sin (Galatians 6:1). 3️⃣ Go Privately: As Jesus instructed in Matthew 18:15: “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone.” 4️⃣ Speak the Truth in Love: Address their sin with honesty and love. 5️⃣ Listen and Encourage: Give them space to share. Remind them of God’s love and forgiveness, offering support as they seek to make things right. 6️⃣ Pray Together: Invite the Holy Spirit into your conversation for guidance and strength. 7️⃣ Follow Up: Check in with them later to see how they’re doing. 8️⃣ If Necessary, Involve Another Believer: If they remain unresponsive, bring along one or two others, as Matthew 18:16 advises: “But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you.” Let’s remember that confronting sin is an act of love, and by stepping in, we can help our friends find their way back to Jesus. 💥 follow @_grant_todd for daily encouragement
