@DadDrums1015 I think raising Brock's level cap to 16 is necessary, otherwise you need extreme luck to get through. It's like how nuzlockers raise Roxanne's cap to 16 in Emerald Kaizo. In this run, I used a raised cap of 28 for Misty, which followed the example of pChal (who used a 28 cap for a non-hardcore nuzlocke). I've since been convinced that Misty is fine with a cap of 26, and will be doing this when I run the game back.

@@buggford1022 One thing I want to point out that I'm not sure if it's an actual issue or not is the use of item duplication glitch to save time with potions. Rare Candy and PKHex at the start make sense for not wasting days on resetting starter RNG and grinding, same for potions and ether/elixer for not running back to the Poke Center constantly, but if you enter a gauntlet section and you wouldn't have had enough money to buy the potions for it. (Example: Entering the gauntlet you have enough money for 30 potions, during the course of the gauntlet, outside of battle (because HC Nuzlocke) you end up using 31 potions. I would say that invalidates the run because you wouldn't have been able to do enough trainer battles to earn the money for that many potions. Just mentioning it in case it hadn't crossed your mind. (Also depending on how CK uses the trainer rematch mechanic if those are available, but if so, for money purposes I would say you would have to risk actually doing the trainer battle if you wanted extra potions for the gauntlet.) You can forget all of that if you ever would get the ability to Pay Day grind wild pokemon. I know Blue Kaizo made Balls dirt cheap, but I'm not currently looking at pricing info for CK potions. It's very possible that the trainer battles before the Sprout Tower gauntlet would give you enough money for 99 Max Potions if prices were dropped to 10 or 1 by SinisterHoodedFigure. and you could re-earn that money to buy 99 more by the time you get to the 2nd gauntlet.

This is what you want. You can tick off acquired badges, and it accounts for all stat changes in Blue Kaizo. All enemies are 9 attack DV, and 8 in everything else. zuils.github.io/gbckaizo-damage-calc/?gen=1

Pidgeot makes the early game SO much easier. Really made this whole challenge more do-able.

Everyone who hardcore nuzlockes this game uses a level cap of 16 for Brock. It's not viable at level 15 without items. Similar to how people raise Roxanne's cap for Emerald Kaizo
