i have fallen in love with these frogs. Unfortunately I had trouble with mine. not sure why 😢 Can you tell me what acrylic paint you use? thank you! love the vid and your furbaby!
Yes I had trouble to, the powders just stuck to the acrylic paint and the powders and paint peeled straight of the stamp. 😢
@@Kimberley-q2zmine just didn't stick to the frog very well. it came off in very small pieces. 😢
Hi Honey; I used the basic line from Liquitex. If you continue having problems, try spraying a bit of Isopropyl alcohol. Let me know if you are still having problems. I will most probably be doing another video and expanding more on it.🫶
Hi Kimberley; the paint does come off easily, trust me I know😅 my fingers where covered in it. Make sure its a thin layer of paint.
It's ok that the pieces are small, it gives a nicer crackle effect. You can add more to the area

This is sooo cool, you are a genius. I bought a large nail stamp and tried this at home, and I must be missing something - I cannot get anything from my stamp to transfer to my black resin item, I've tried so many times that I've split the nail stamp into pieces. I used all the same materials that you did (my acrylic paint is a different brand), I just can figure out what I am doing wrong. bummer, I was so excited about this new hack! Your stuff is wonderful!
Oh no, it sounds like your nail stamp has gone through a rough breakup! 😂 Sometimes these things just need a little more patience. The acrylic I used basic white series from Liquidex, but I would have thought that any acrylic paint should do. Is the nail stamp a silicone one? a.co/d/jhC2PR7

I had trouble too, the powders adhered to the acrylic paint and it peeled straight of the stamp. I’m using the same stamp as in video.

This is amazing! I must ask, how does acrylic paint stick to the frog when it's dry? I am so confused! Defo want to try this, it looks fantastic xoxoxoxox
I'm glad you liked it! Acrylic paint adheres well to resin once it's fully cured because the surface becomes slightly porous. Can't wait to see your makes🫶
I've done crackle with paint and a sponge or a 'crackle medium' on household items and even as the top of wainscotting. Also on polymer clay for jewelry. But I have never seen it done this way with resin... *MIND BLOWN* lol tytyty! If @daniel..cooper has done this, I've missed it!
