I use logic and the eq stock plugin that comes along with it, and use the bx_limiter from plugin alliance. I just mic’ed up a 1x12 fortin cabinet with a English celestion V30 powered by the fortin sigil. The secret for me really is to just take a roomy guitar tone and eq cut all the low mids and regular mids so you can actually hear the higher more pleasant frequencies more. It takes time and you can kill your tone if you over do it

It’s a agile interceptor 7 with 27” scale length, Seymour Duncan blackout pickups and some ocean burst finish. I don’t know if they sell it anymore but it was really good for the price. One thing I really liked about agile is all their varieties of scale length that most companies seem to be lacking. I almost sold it but glad I didn’t, tuning was standard A# thank you for watching!

I really appreciate that man, I’ve looked into it before and have tried playing with proper technique and straighten my wrist. But it was like trying to play guitar all over again so I didn’t think much more about it. I’ll look into those videos, if my wrist starts hurting I will stop, most of the time it’s really not an issue unless I’m playing 8 string or something. I’m really sorry to hear that happen to you man, it really sucks that injuries like that can happen just from playing guitar and can literally take you out of the game forever

Thank you so much, I think it may have been more luck than anything. I just heard the drums and it came out and tried to keep it real simple which can go a long way sometimes. I did have kind of a hard time starting out with a 7/8 riff for three bars and make it transition to 4/4 I think that really matched up well. Thanks man! Yeah the outro to this song is definitely what made this one of my favorite songs by meshuggah, I think it’s definitely a great song to learn if you’re not familiar with their songs. A great way to get your feet in the water with this band, I’m definitely gonna try to do dancers next but it is really tough and takes a lot endurance the solo is way more difficult too
