Dang! Wish there was video to this! Ugh!
この会場に居た、とてもうれしい! 当時14歳だった、とても懐かしいし今でも記憶にある。 ありがとう。
Bachman-Turner Overdrive during their prime era. And what a lineup--- Randy Bachman: lead and rhythm guitars, vocals, back vocals Blair Thornton: lead and rhythm guitars C. Fred Turner: bass, vocals, back vocals Rob Bachman: drums, percussion The cats and kittens in the Land Of The Rising Sun got themselves a swell treat.
B.T.O super amazing band..(Czech fan)❤
This is great! At the height of their career playing one hit song after another and sounding like a well oiled machine. And a bonus of being able to really hear Fred's amazing voice. As a dedicated BTO fan I'm embarrassed to say that I'd never heard of this recording. Thanks so much for the post - I really dig it.
I agree! BTO at 73-76 was a huge influence for me as a guitar player and own producer. The dynamics of the jazz and hardest rock music made it very interesting for me. Same for the vocals; Randys soft and not so heavy and then Freds "gravel" but also very soft in "Blue Collar". Lots of love from me!
WOW!
WOW!
Rock me Amedeas
One of the great bands in the 70’s the music is still magic!
these guys are still rocking after 50 years; and sounding strong !
Wow, rockin' jazzin' groovin' BTO!
Thinking of the supposed situation in the band around that time (according to Randy and Fred) this is a fantastic band effort! About half a year later they were recording "Freeways" and then Randy left. Randy and Fred did reunite around 1979 in UNION and made a very good album. Then Randy and Burton Cummings reunited in Guess Who and then BTO reunited with Guess Who drummer... And then it got messy until ca 1988 when this line-up reunited, and then....
Mr.Hermes I really appreciate your efforts thanks 👍👍👍👍
Incredible!! I've NEVER heard Find Out About Love performed live!! Wowowowow, the guitar work is spectacular!
Which is my all time BTO favorite and yes never heard it live!!!!
I think adding Blair Thornton powered them up some more at the time
..a very good year for RNR...got to see BTO several times in '70s; 1974 w/b either LB Arena, or LA Forum, or even at HIC prior to leaving Hawaii...those were the days. Let me check my ticket stubs to clarify...stay tuned..
Meat and Potatoes Rock and Roll at its finest!
Fantastic hard rock Canadian band !!! Classic rock rules !!!
BTO, legendaria banda de rock. Un magnífico estilo. Magnifica producción. Gracias por compartir.
Blair Thornton . . . One of the most underrated guitarists in the history of Rock. Listen to his work on "Not Fragile", "Four Wheel Drive", "Head On". Some of the finest. 🍀🍀
Duelling guitars....
No doubt! He's fucking great!🎸 Love his playing, especially on the song "Wild Spirit" from "Head On" album.Just a wicked solo!! One of my favorites from BTO that flew under the radar for some unknown reason!! It's the shit!! 🎸🤘🤙

Agreed. I'd add "My Wheels Won't Turn" to your list. The guy is fantastic, and Randy's belief in his skills was proven over and over.
1976...a most memorable year for me. And what a great year for rock!
Was good for me too, got married to my beautiful bride and still married to her.
Look how skinny Randy and Fred are here!!! They must've been on some monster diets!!!
Looks like had to fit into that crazy pantsuit, Hillary would be jealous.LOL
25:28 !!!
solo para los ke gustamos del rock.desde chile
This is after Blair Thornton came in to replace Tim Bachman. So technically not the "original" band. Tho, in my opinion, not only did Blair bring a much needed lift to their sound, but he was equally talented as Bachman on lead guitar. Perhaps even moreso. I'd welcome any comments on that idear. Thanks, Laddie, for putting this up. Yes, the sound isn't stellar, but to those of us who were and are diehard fans, this is a wonderful snapshot of the band in that era.
Anthony Brock I agree to you! Blair is just brilliant
I was surprised when I read that Randy stated Blair was much needed because he was better then him.Randy stated after a while he was repeating his leads. And Tim was only a rhythm guitarist .
Blair was a very Melodic Guitarist an asset to BTO great Guitarist !
Blair added much flash to BTO. Had some really good leads and could shred when allowed.
Ahora lo estamos escuchando en la playa b.t.o. grandee
Pesaso de tema lo escucho siemprr
Stay away. Crappy sound and no video!
It's a bootleg recording, probably recorded by a member of the audience on a cassette recorder. It's worth listening to for what it is, unless you can do a better job, you stay away.
@@davidmacgregor5193 I'm enjoying this, don't listen to boobs.
Too bad they never put those old shows on cd…
Best B.T.O show out there from the 70s... thanks!!!
Best rock from Canada !! BTO RULES !
I love BTO - saw them live in 1974 - but they really couldn't reproduce their music live. Sounds like a garage band.
They got really good at it!
Thanks, much appreciated, great sound.
Exelent :) Playing Percusion/Drums in a coverband. 53 YO. ******* Clear simple pure sound. Great for me to copy/paste ! The rest of the band got to listen to this. LOVE IT...
Awesome gig!
Thank you for putting this up.
Cool.
Phil says way to go!!
