It is very noisy, I wish they installed a Noctua fan in there. Does anyone know what fan they used? So I can install a Noctua.

So happy I didn’t Pre-Order one because the 1st ones had screen issues.It’s always good to let them work the bugs out before buying.

I have one and the noise is incredible after a few FT8 transmissions at only 350W.

Is there firmware available so the radio can have a waterfall display?

wonderful but not the best receiver by Yaesu. The best one is FTdx5000.

Too much compression and ALC is way up in the sky! Should start by working on the Mic and ALC first....then use compression....other than that nice to see it working....I use my remote PC Surface pro from the living room / elsewhere from the house ....radio shack is in basement. NN3RP / Rafael

Nice amp...I almost bought one but too many customers having problems. On a side note, my Yaesu VL-1000 Quadra solid state amp is still putting out 1200 watts almost daily now for over 20 years. SSTV at 1.2 KW too!

Thanks for the video. As the 7300 has no Ethernet port I assume you have a host PC at the transceiver connected via USB? If so, is the connection to the radio from the remote PC direct to the host PC or is there some cloud server involved in the connection?

ACOM looks like a solid company, I' looking at the A1010 model 700W version.

How is it peak is 2K and your average output not more constant at least 1500w?

I have this software, I got it with my 7300. I dont have the remote VFO, but I want to buy one. The only bug bare I have is i'm an Apple guy and need Windows to run this, so had to buy two cheap windows laptops :( Dan do you sell the remote VFO?

Can acom 1200s work on 60 meters ??

I tested 600S but it was noisy unit. Even when just on without tx'ing it started to blow very loud after some 5 minutes. Now having A1000 but looking for 1200S also.

From an operation perspective, I prefer the FTdx5000 (which I have) but I'll still say: there has never been a more attractive modern radio than the FTdx-9000. It's simply the high water mark of a proper all-knobs-and-tactic-control radio.

My dream radio. Unfortunately, with my income, I will never actually own one. 😞

How does this compare to the new SDR based transceivers which seem to be so popular? I have to say that I'd prefer the Yaesu 9000 or 5000 series over the FTDX101 or the Icom 7610.
