I really can't believe you mentioned the Region-Beta Paradox. After I listened to that episode, It answered the natural feeling I've had about this my whole adult life. So many things were riding that fence in my life. If they were a little worse, I would have solved them immediately... Im in a similar situation as you, besides I didn't get out soon enough and spiraled and let things stack for a while. Im fighting back hard now.

You'll need to restart 75 hard. You can't do the workouts back to back. I suggest reading the book. Also the books you mentioned earlier dont really qualify. Yes, they are non-fiction, but the purpose of the book needs to be personal improvement.
H Richard, I haven't posted a video about this yet, but I actually did restart the challenge this week. I failed to complete my requirements last weekend and have listened to Andy's podcast about it in preparation to restart. I was not previously aware of the back to back workouts limitation so I will make sure to follow that moving forward. As for the books, in his podcast he says that it needs to be "for personal or professional growth" and specifically mentions psychology books where you're "learning new stuff". I think they fit enough to be counted.
@@ElizabethBugbey generally the program is not about any specific task but learning to do what it takes to become better including "mastering the suck" aka facing hard challenges and directly attacking them as well as "mastering the monotonous" being able to complete the seemingly meaningless tasks over and over again with consistency

You got this! I just posted another video with some new learnings / suggestions after 3 weeks of doing the challenge that could be helpful to know before you start if you're interested.
For the diet portion you can choose a daily calorie count and track your meals hitting your macros it’s pretty simple
