I’ve seen the movie only once and I found it extremely unsettling. It’s considered a modern classic amongst film buffs, but it just gives me the creeps. I remember the pool skeleton scene. Still have nightmares about it to this day. Knowing that they used real human skeletons for that scene really explains why it affected me the way it did. It is not and never will be in my film library. I love horror movies, but this one tapped into something very dark and sinister.

Hades has been so UNDERATED, MISREPRESENTED, AND MISUNDERSTOOD by most people. If you look through the lenses, hades is the hero that greek mythology wants to perceive as the best of them all, even with goodness. In fact, if you see his challenges and actions towards humans; it always came with good intentions despite the difficulty of it. Zeus is scared at, and respect Hades so much he won't ever dare challenge his big brother for the rest of time. Hades might not be the God of Love, (because he is more than that) but (the point is) his Love is the epitomy of the truest love for every living creatures. *Of course hades wasn't perfect, but all the Gods had their flaws (questionable actions), and if it all boils down to being the best, truest, most loyal, most powerful, and inately most good of a God: It is Hades. Lastly, if you could read the books, and properly understand it, Zeus and his crew are the real ones to be perceived as true "villainy".
