I think the discussion shouldn’t be about total roster size. It should be about scholarship count. Almost All the walk ons are going to be gone. Most of them have names nobody knows. Many of them have no portal value to FBS teams.

Nebraska fumbled 5 times and were lucky to get three of them back. Great defense and mistake free football wins more games than not. Iowa plays ugly on offense but they do so little that they can’t mess up.

I would like to believe Rhule and the coaches care about Nebraska, but in today's world, coaches are mercenaries. They will jump ship the moment something better (in their minds pops up). Look at White and Knighton. Nebraska was just a stepping stone. There was no loyalty there. Those days are over.
