Hi mate. Thinking about a job like this on my house. I’ve got a question if you have time to answer. What stops the smell from the drain coming through the drain grate where the kitchen appliances drain into?

what we want to know is, most of these pipes are old style, limited fall, yet the government is screaming save water, Yet they scream install dual flush on pipes designed for full flush- , Where is the plumbing industry standing up to the health department and saying these dual flush should only be installed in new estates with greater fall in the pipes, after all is said water is cheaper than a plumber... why is the health department not scream, DO NOT USE- "FLUSHABLE" WIPES ETC

We need to see how you clear the drains, and what the problem was? Other wise keep going 😊😊

Please note that Northumbrian water give the customer permission to move this manhole out of the proposed Extention and the water authority inspected our work and signed it off as good order and asked for a business card also 🥰
