I loved Flower because she was the best leader and a sweet girl and Zaphod were perfect for each other.

Even after all these years, Flower Whiskers holds a place in my heart. I remember 6 years ago watching Meerkat Manor for the first time, and to this day, it has a huge impact on me personally. Flower Whiskers, a fighter, a mother, a leader, till the very end. You will be forever in our hearts and are sorely missed. <3

the whiskers has had a hard time since rocketdog died. they once were down to 7 memebers. but now theyre 18 memebers. because Ella (a.k.a sophie), is producing pups together with Thundercat

Hey, nice video! Just a couple facts are off though: Before Flower's dominance, Zaphod was mates to the previous two dominant females, Risca and then Vialli. Risca was chased out by Vialli, and then Vialli died. So Flower became dominant and kept Zaphod as dominant male. And then after a year, Yossarian battled for male dominance, and won. He was dominant for 2 litters (Rocket Dog, Kinkaju, Maybelline(aka Monkulus)'s litters) until Zaphod came back and beat Yossarian

This was a really nice video to make. I miss all these Meerkats dearly. When i watch Meerkat Manor today, I always hope that Tosca or Shakespear will just randomly come out of the darkness and rejoin the family. And i do believe Youssarian is alive!

I agree; I've watched most of the Flower Tributes & yours is 1 of the best! From the music & story telling, to the photos w/the Black & White effects! A superior tribute, worthy of this superior animal. Flower will always hold a place in our hearts. Though only 12 inches tall, she was an amazing creature & we're all better for what she taught us about: hard work, dedication, love & the importance of family. Flower Power forever! We will miss you our 'Kalahari Queen & Desert Rose'

Wow, thanx! I had no idea the Commando's were actually the Vivian! Now it makes sense. Hannibal was such a good name for him(compared to Jim Bob). He was mean and ugly, but I hate hearing he died!

I hope the next season updates us on each mob. I checked the Kalahari-meerkats website and 'one-eyed' Hannibal is no longer head of the Commandos in fact they dont say what happened to him at all. I'm still missing Flower, and Mozart! May they both rest in peace!

My heart was broken. Amazing how we get attached to such a wonderful little creature.

The photographers must have been broken hearted knowing they were not allowed to intervene in nature's course. Watching Flower die had to be the worst thing in their lives.
