Glen L Malahini update April 2021
Finally back into this project. Bummed it sat on the sidelines for so long but so excited to be back at it. Need to finish vanishing, install all the trim, lights, windshield, speakers, and bildge door. Shooting for a late may launch!

Sorry I didn't post any videos of my boat earlier in the process, just thought to start today. I've got about 7-8 months into it over two years. I own a ground maintenance business so I only work on it primarily in the winter months when I have lots of spare time. Just two stupid teenagers seeing who could out pull. Both trucks are stock, I thought he would win so I used 4wd first run but just 2wd on the last run. I was surprised I beat a 3/4 ton.

Curious how the floor covering is holding up Robert? My Malahini just used a clear coat with sand to give it grit.. looks kinda sad.. may want to cover it up next season.
Very happy with it, holding up very well. I'll get another video put up soon, just had her out a few days ago!

Honestly I don't even know, I basically work on it an hour a day 3 months out of year for 4 years, hoping to launch next spring! New video in the next month or so!

The engine is shit to begin with. You can buy them for $150 at walmart. Briggs motors are way better.

Wish I would have gone bigger, needs more lift capacity and range from the loader and 3pt.

Man I'm really tempted to trade in my 1025R for a 2025R, the extra height would be great. I have a backhoe on my 1025R.. you won't regret buying it. I use mine for all kinds of stuff. Adding a clevis bracket to the back side of the bucket really makes it useful. I use it to set fence posts, move logs, etc.

Funny, I just tried out a 2025R last night. Was debating between that and the 2032R. I think I've decided to go with the 2025R. Cost is a pretty big deciding factor, plus I have a skid loader for anything the John Deere won't do. I think I will want to put wheel spacers on and possible fill the tires just to make a wider base and lower center of gravity for the hills I will be mowing on.
Good looking tractor. I like the forks. I also went with the radial tires on my 2038. I like the 4100 looks like new

The radials are great and work well on hills. No problems with the lawn.
F. David Bush Thanks David. I don’t need the R4s on my 3039r. Wish I had R3s and these look a potential option. The problem I found before is it is a matched set between rim size and type of tire.
F. David Bush. David, have you installed your spacers yet? If so, have you been in areas where you could tell that the tractor is less tippy? $500 is a tough pill if it doesn’t really help. I have a field on a slope where I take the upper turn very carefully. I do have a FEL and the tires are not filled.
Nice work. I like your philosophy of keeping things simple. Like the motorwell that you went ahead and painted black. It`s easy to fuss over the paint finish too. My paint isn`t perfect on my ZIP. But close enough. Great Vid. Enjoyed

LongBowMan89 he had the 239 flathead v8 in it. No longer has it, needed to much love time and money :(
