Absolutely 💯 correct!! Parents need to actually parent these children that have suffered through trauma. Get help from a morally like minded counselor, therapist.! God Bless all parents going through this, may he give you the strength to endure and overcome. 🙏🏼

Seems to me "the desire to stay enslaved" describes religion perfectly.

Interestingly enough I fell upon the verse Exodus 20:18 When God came to Moses on the Mount Sanai with thunderings and lightenings and ; it scared the Israelites so much that they asked Moses to tell God please not speak to them because they would surely die . God then told them do not be afraid I am doing this that you might have the Fear of the Lord so that you may not sin !!! That was so mind blowing to me . It is good to be afraid of Gods reverence and power and we need that fear to keep us on our toes . We do not however need to bow to worldly fears . Which come from unbelief .
