I felt so sorry for him, having to pretend he wasn't jealous seeing Nikki with all those other guys -- but you could tell he really was.
Music is so loud I can’t hear the majority of the conversation. Annoying

I know that they've both had dalliances with other people, and I also know that people who work together often try not to mix their love lives with their work -- but seriously, if Nikki doesn't realize how much Jack LOVES her, she must have rocks in her head. Big gentle Jack doesn't talk much, but you can tell from his little gestures and the way he looks at her what he's really feeling. If they don't get TOGETHER at some point before the series ends, I will feel betrayed!

@@hannahholman2411 : Yes, I saw the end of s24, where it looked like they were getting together at last. It was about time! I'm almost finished s25 when they're still getting closer together. I haven't seen s26 yet, but I hear they're still together in s27, too. That's good to hear.
I think on some level Nikki has always been aware of Jack's feelings for her and came to reciprocate those feelings long before she could admit it. I think Mexico was her turning point where she began to realize her feelings but Jack pulled away so that scared Nikki back into the friend zone because she couldn't risk losing him.
@@jaydebolton6414 : Good points. He did seem to pull away after Mexico -- it seems because of guilt and regret that he felt helpless and was unable to rescue her. I LOVED that scene where she insists Jack dust her therapist's notes for fingerprints, probably knowing on some level that he would see what they said, and would understand what she was feeling about it all. And when he realized, just the way he wordlessly went over and took her in his arms was very touching. She acted surprised at first, but then hugged him back, really hard. And it was PERFECTLY in character, the way he awkwardly hooked her with his arm and just hauled her in for a hug. Like a lot of men, he has trouble expressing his feelings. I've ALWAYS thought Jack was a real sweetheart -- and I felt sorry for him as he tried not to look jealous as she went off with so many inappropriate men. Like the lawyer who was torturing and killing young men. Really?? And Ollie? What on Earth was she thinking, when it was right after she had kissed Jack?
@@stevecarson4162 I thought the Ollie thing was the other way round. Had sex with Ollie then heard Jack was in trouble so bailed on Ollie to go to Jack. I think Jack only found out about Ollie because of the voicemail she'd left him. Then a few days later they finally sleep together, but she acts so strange without him knowing why. Poor jack was likely wondering if he'd been used or was part of some midlife crisis. It is odd that most crime dramas that have romance seem to follow the same formula of romance. Nikki and Jack are basically like the British Booth and Bones- or Castle and Beckett
