Bias. We are all incredibly biased and don't know it half the time. Which is what is happening to you, for whatever reasons, you are biased against her. She is not 'that bad' lol. She's no great actress, but she does get roles, and you can't argue that she is profitable. So, if your able to keep your bias at bay, and look at the facts... her fame, movies, and a shit ton of other things she's done... it is clear to anyone 'else' that she is bankable. Unfortunately you have to have an IQ above ~125 to be able to self identify biasness as cognitive dissonance is too difficult/uncomfortable for average people.

A good plot screwup by the scriptwriter, screenplay writer, director, Action director, over acting by Juan Pablo Raba, doesn’t make any sense; what the people behind Movie Peppermint was trying deliver to the audience. In reality people fear life, no matter how bad one is. People behind the camera or the movie didn’t do justice to Jennifer Garner nor her character. I still think Jennifer Garner could have pullout any project. If the team is not on a equal level then one is wasting their time and money.
